Splinterlands Social Media Challenge!

(Edited)

Several rules are changing on Splinterlands, probably one of the reasons why this gaming platform continues to maintain and renew interest in it is precisely this, the fact that you can't relax much, new dynamics, new horizons , new initiatives continue to flock constantly, creating the conditions for a renewed competition between us players...

An argument that is holding the stage, in the speeches inherent to my participation in the Great Contest of Splinterlands Social Media Challenge, is certainly that of the advancement, or at least the consolidation, of the level of the League in which I participate, in the last Seasons have almost always ended up in Lega Diamante II, from this Season there was a further facilitation, that of restarting from the rating score of 2,500 and no more than 2,200...

I was more than convinced that it would lead to my further growth, or at least an early entry into the Diamond Leagues, which is what I hear from many users, unfortunately it hasn't happened yet, as my current rating score is the following...

2,448 points, screenshot taken on Wednesday 22 March 22.17 Italian time, there are still about 8 days, 16 hours and 43 minutes left until the end of this Season of play, we are now halfway there, and I still haven't been able to permanently exceed 2,500 points of rating at the start of the season, if nothing else, the limited retreat to 600 points from the previous season meant, as a side effect, the possibility of playing peacefully in the Gold Leagues, having 600 points available before sinking below the 1,900 points of the Leagues Silver, this season I stopped at around 2,100 points, but going above 2,500, at least for the current moment, just doesn't talk about it, we'll see in the next few days, I think towards the end of this week, around 25-26 March, I should sketch the 2,800 points, to enter the Diamond League III, in the meantime I have done some upgrades, which I had to do for some time, I have finished at least part of the work, the one relating to strengthening Call of the Summoners...

Qid Yuff, my Rare Fire Element Summoner, I finally managed to take him to the 8th and final level, I've been thinking about it for a long time, I jumped at 2 multiple purchase opportunities, thanks to the which I was able to buy the 50 units of this Summoner, which I needed to max it out, for less than 50 dollars (less than 1 dollar per unit), it was certainly not my favorite, but I had to deal with my finances, which are certainly not prosperous, having to respond to different needs, but as I can I always try to make investments in Splinterlands, mainly purchases of Cards...

The other Summoner, which together with General Sloan has been at least partially buffed, has been…

True Salacia, Water Summoner, 7th level, the last blow is missing, the one from 8th level, but now I find myself at a crossroads, with difficult choices to make, because I have cleared, in a certain sense, the road from 2,800 points of rating upwards, which is when I will reenter the Diamond Leagues, but high-level Summoners serve from that rating upwards, while at lower levels, such as the ones I currently have, they have no effect, because Summoners they can be used up to 6th level, so what??

So it's a mess, because to speed up the ascent towards the Diamond Leagues, at least for the present moment, there is only one way to go, a very difficult and onerous one...

Upgrading the Deck of Cards, buying very strong and powerful Cards, that I don't own at the moment or I hold at levels lower than usable with 6th level Summoners, where is the difficulty??

Simple, to have Cards, at a medium-low level, which can significantly increase the chance of winning a few more games, you need to spend, and spend a lot...

My current situation

I have a Deck of Cards, at Summoner level, exactly split in half, on one side the strong Summoners, Qyd Yuff (8th level), General Sloan (8th level) and True Salacia (7th level), from other hand the weak Summoners, Obsidian (6th level), Thaddius Brood (6th level) and Drake of Arnak (even at 4th level), but I think I'll stop at this point, for a while, with the upgrading of Summoners, going to focus on the purchase of Cards, from Common to Legendary, which can make me raise my win percentage, especially when I play in Gold Leagues, but upgrading a Summoner to the maximum level, at least for that which concerns the Summoners that I personally own, cost just over a hundred dollars, while a single Card, perhaps even belonging to a specific Element, can cost a few hundred dollars, and to obtain significant results, I'm afraid I really have to reinforce , or buy *from scratch *, several Cards...

Horny Toad, I know I baffled you a bit with this choice of mine, but it's an old obsession I have, it's a Neutral Card, with a low cost in terms of Mana, with its 3 points it can be used in many game dynamics, I currently only have it at the 3rd level, being a Common Card it can travel up to the 8th level even in the Gold Leagues, the qualitative leap, in terms of strength in battle, is remarkable, from the 3rd at 8th level she goes from 1 hit to 2 per game round, Speed increases by 1 unit, as do Lives (from 2 to 3), but above all she acquires the Poison ability, which makes her very interesting and versatile in its use...

In my next participation in this Contest I will talk about the closure of this Season, but I will certainly have also reinforced one or more Cards from my collection, because I am too busy and involved in the functioning of this wonderful gaming platform, if you too want to try the pleasure to participate in the battles of Splinterlands and you are not registered yet, you can do it using, if you want, my affiliate link...

Versione Italiana
