Diamond League III reached, finally, this time with a bigger margin than the last Season, as I have more than 4 days (instead of 2) to stay, maintain and possibly improve the results achieved recently , I am more and more convinced that the transition to Modern mode was a winning choice, but, as I have repeatedly thought and hypothesized, I still don't have a Deck of Cards sufficiently boosted to remain constantly in this League...

Compare with other players

It may seem like an obvious sentence, this one I said, however it hides several aspects, because by compare I mean not only the confrontation with the opposing team that we happen to face in a game, but also carefully analyzing that same battle, because by observing the decisions that our opponent has made, which Cards to deploy, how to deploy them, and more, we can obtain valuable information to improve our game, because I often notice very effective combinations of Cards, and the emulation attempt is triggered in me , that is to recreate, if possible, in my Deck of Cards the same composition that seemed successful to me, with limitations, generated in particular by the cost of this operation, unfortunately my finances are what they are, I don't have a very limited availability but not even very large, above certain figures I struggle to arrive, when talking about a single card of hundreds of dollars, to bring it to high the levels, after all I am forced to push hard on my Cards, because I have limits also in terms of knowledge and technicality, I consider myself, honestly speaking, a player like many others, who works hard but lacks in some aspects and dynamics of game, and the considerations that I have just exposed lead to practical consequences, such as, for example, the rental of some Summoners at maximum power, to try to fully exploit the power of my Cards that I maxed out previously...

I therefore start with an analysis of what the rental market offers, with specific reference, at least at an initial level, to what is available as far as Summoners are concerned, looking at their cost, crossed with what they possess as a possible skill, going to select the 3 best proposals, in my humble opinion, and then rent them directly...

Obsidian, Rare Summoner of the Earth Element, which by the way is the one I'm progressively enhancing, I already own it at 6th level (like all my other Rare Summoners except the one of the Dragon Element, stop since time immemorial at the 4th level), the passage from the 6th to the 8th level guarantees that additional power that when one goes to face the opponents who militate in these Leagues is very advisable...

For the 2nd Summoner to be upgraded I went to choose, also thanks to a very interesting rental price, General Sloan, just today I found a unit of this Summoner in one of the 2 Packs that I obtained from the completion of the daily Focus, even if I lack several to raise it to the 8th, but it is always one less unit to buy, in the meantime rent, to be able to travel at full strength Cards such as Venari Crystalsmith, or Pelacor Conjurer, and again Portal Spinner and Djinn Renova, which I've maxed out for some time, not to mention some Neutral Cards, able in this case to unleash their full potential...

As the 3rd and last Summoner that I went to rent at maximum power, I chose, comparing the various offers, an excellent Summoner, always in my humble opinion, as Possibilus the Wise immediately struck me for its performance, when I found it before me in the opposing teams, so I immediately rented it, considering that there was one at the 4th level at an almost bargain price (this Summoner is of the Legendary genre, so the Top is the 4th level), I have to say that I really think it was a good choice...

While waiting to have my personal Summoners raised to the 8th level (at least 2 out of 6 Elements), he will continue to visit the rental market, going to expressly choose in 4 Elements, keeping in mind the fact of the number and quality of Cards which I have strengthened in the individual Elements, arriving at the following consideration...

Element Water, Earth, Life above all, as an absolute preference, alternatively, in case of lack of an interesting offer on one of the Summoners of these Elements, I can opt for the Element Death, while for the Element Fire, not to mention the Dragon Element, it is better to keep it as a super-reserve, because the fully upgraded Cards are very few...

I have only rented these 3 Summoners, in terms of Cards I have not yet proceeded with any operation, other than the purchase ones, the process of increasingly increasing the power of my Deck of Cards is certainly not finished, on the contrary, I think that, well keeping in mind the constantly growing average level of the players, I think that the purchases of Cards on my part will be practically constant, limited only by the availability of personal resources, which are not many but not even small, so I proceed to continuous evaluations on the opportunity to buy this or that Card, is one of the most intriguing aspects of this game, the fact that it always keeps you on the edge and pushes you to always do your best, if you want to continue riding the crest of your wave...

What better tool to check your progress than the personal rating? After an initial up and down, straddling Lega Oro I and Lega Diamante III, I put on a small series of consecutive victories, if I remember correctly 4, which allowed me to easily exceed (perhaps definitively for this Season) the 2,800 for the maintenance of the Diamond III League, so at the moment I'm going on like this, possibly, if I were to fall below the level of 2,800 rating points again, I will evaluate whether to proceed with further rentals, at the level of individual Cards...

Rental as an immediate solution

I don't have the practical and economic possibility of making all the upgrades that I deem appropriate to stay without major problems in Lega Diamante III (or higher), so the only viable alternative is precisely that of renting, not systematic but limited to the last days of the single Seasons, at least until I have 2 Summoners at maximum level, which could already be enough to guarantee me a stay in the Diamond Leagues at the end of each single Season of the game...

Paradossalmente, quando mi appresto a partecipare al Contest di Splinterlands Social Media Challenge, ho sempre un po' di incertezza su quale argomento trattare, anche se, in un certo senso, mi è venuta l'ispirazione grazie al traguardo simbolico che ho toccato poco prima della mezzanotte del 26 gennaio, anche non in maniera continuativa...

Lega Diamante III raggiunta, finalmente, questa volta con un margine più ampio rispetto alla Stagione appena passata, in quanto ho più di 4 giorni (in luogo dei 2) per rimanere, mantenere e possibilmente migliorare i risultati conseguiti recentemente, sono sempre più convinto che il passaggio in modalità Modern sia stata una scelta vincente, ma, come ho più volte pensato e ipotizzato, non ho ancora un Deck di Carte sufficientemente potenziato per rimanere con costanza in questa Lega...

Confrontarsi con altri giocatori

Può sembrare una frase scontata, questa che ho detto, invece nasconde diversi aspetti, in quanto per confrontarsi intendo non solo lo scontro con la squadra avversaria che ci capita di affrontare in una partita, ma anche analizzare attentamente quella stessa battaglia, perché osservando le decisioni che ha preso il nostro avversario, quali Carte schierare, come schierarle, e altro ancora, possiamo ricavare preziose informazioni per migliorare il nostro gioco, perché spesso noto delle combinazioni di Carte molto efficaci, e scatta in me il tentativo di emulazione, cioè di ricreare, se possibile, nel mio Deck di Carte la stessa composizione che mi è sembrata vincente, con delle limitazioni, generate in particolar modo dal costo di questa operazione, purtroppo le mie finanze sono quello che sono, non ho una disponibilità ridottissima ma nemmeno molto ampia, sopra a certe cifre faccio fatica ad arrivare, quando si parla per una singola Carta di centinaia di dollari, per portarla ad alti livelli, del resto sono costretto a spingere forte sulle mie Carte, perché ho dei limiti anche a livello di conoscenza e di tecnicismo, mi ritengo, onestamente parlando, un giocatore come tanti, che si impegna al massimo ma carente su alcuni aspetti e dinamiche di gioco, e le considerazioni che ho appena esposto portano a delle conseguenze pratiche, quali, ad esempio, il noleggio di alcuni Evocatori alla massima potenza, per cercare di sfruttare completamente la potenza delle mie Carte che ho maxato in precedenza...

Parto quindi con un'analisi di quello che offre il mercato dei noleggi, con specifico riferimento, almeno a livello iniziale, a quello che è disponibile per quanto concerne gli Evocatori, guardando al loro costo, incrociato con quello che possiedono come eventuale abilità, andando a selezionare le 3 migliori proposte, a mio modesto avviso, per poi noleggiarle direttamente...

Obsidian, Evocatore Raro dell'Elemento Terra, che fra l'altro è quello che sto potenziando progressivamente, lo possiedo già al 6° livello (come tutti gli altri miei Evocatori Rari tranne quello dell'Elemento Drago, fermo da tempo immemore al 4° livello), il passaggio dal 6° all'8° livello garantisce quella potenza addizionale che quando si va ad affrontare gli avversari che militano in queste Leghe è molto consigliabile...

Per il 2° Evocatore da potenziare sono andato a scegliere, complice anche un prezzo di noleggio molto interessante, General Sloan, proprio oggi ho trovato un'unità di questo Evocatore in uno dei 2 Pack che ho ottenuto dal completamento del Focus giornaliero, anche se me ne mancano parecchi per elevarlo all'8°, ma è sempre un'unità in meno da acquistare, nel frattempo noleggio, per poter far viaggiare a tutta forza Carte quali Venari Crystalsmith, oppure Pelacor Conjurer, e ancora Portal Spinner e Djinn Renova, che da tempo ho maxato, per non parlare di alcune Carte Neutrali, in grado in questo caso di esprimere il loro massimo potenziale...

Come 3° e ultimo Evocatore che sono andato a noleggiare alla massima potenza, ho scelto, confrontando le varie offerte, un ottimo Evocatore, sempre secondo il mio modesto parere, in quanto Possibilus the Wise mi ha immediatamente colpito per le sue prestazioni, quando me lo sono ritrovato davanti nelle compagine avversarie, per cui me lo sono subito noleggiato, visto e considerato che ce n'era uno al 4° livello a prezzo quasi stracciato (questo Evocatore è di genere Leggendario, per cui il Top è il 4° livello), devo dire che penso proprio che sia stata una bella scelta...

Nell'attesa di avere i miei Evocatori personali elevati all'8° livello (almeno 2 su 6 Elementi), continuerà a visitare il mercato dei noleggi, andando a scegliere espressamente in 4 Elementi, tenendo a mente il fatto del numero e qualità di Carte che ho potenziato nei singoli Elementi, arrivando alla considerazione seguente...

Elemento Acqua, Terra, Vita su tutti, come preferenza assoluta, in alternativa, in caso di mancanza di un'offerta interessante su uno degli Evocatori di questi Elementi, posso optare per l'Elemento Morte, mentre per quanto concerne l'Elemento Fuoco, per non parlare dell'Elemento Drago, è meglio che lo tenga come super-riserva, perché le Carte potenziate al massimo sono davvero pochissime...

Verifica della strategia impiegata

Ho noleggiato solamente questi 3 Evocatori, a livello di Carte non ho ancora provveduto a nessuna operazione, se non quelle di acquisto, il processo di incrementare sempre di più la potenza del mio Deck di Carte non è certo finito, anzi, penso che, ben tenendo a mente il livello medio dei giocatori in costante crescita, penso che gli acquisti di Carte da parte mia saranno praticamente costanti, limitati unicamente dalla disponibilità di risorse personali, che non sono tantissime ma nemmeno esigue, per cui procedo a continue valutazioni sull'opportunità di comprare questa o quella Carta, è uno degli aspetti più intriganti di questo gioco, il fatto che ti tiene sempre sulla corda e ti spinge a fare sempre del tuo meglio. se si vuole continuare a cavalcare la cresta della propria onda...

Quale migliore strumento per controllare i propri progressi se non quello del rating personale? Dopo un'iniziale su e giù, a cavallo della Lega Oro I e Lega Diamante III, ho infilato una piccola serie di vittorie consecutive, se non ricordo male 4, che mi hanno consentito di superare agevolmente (forse definitivamente per questa Stagione) i 2,800 per il mantenimento della Lega Diamante III, per cui al momento attuale vado avanti così, eventualmente, se dovessi piombare nuovamente sotto al livello dei 2,800 punti di rating, valuterò se procedere a ulteriori noleggi, a livello di singole Carte...

Noleggio come soluzione ideale nell'immediato

Non ho la possibilità pratica ed economica di fare tutti i potenziamenti che ritengo opportuni per stare senza grandi problemi in Lega Diamante III (o superiori), per cui l'unica alternativa valutabile è proprio quella del noleggio, non sistematico ma limitato agli ultimi giorni delle singole Stagioni, almeno finché non avrò 2 Evocatori al massimo livello, che potrebbero essere già sufficienti per garantirmi la permanenza nelle Leghe Diamante alla fine di ogni singola Stagione di gioco...
