We need to make a necessary premise, after reading a few posts about whether or not to switch to Modern mode, at the beginning of last season I decided to change, of course, restarting from 0 was very traumatic, then, slowly, I started climbing from League to League, even going to touch, for a couple of games, the Diamond League II, but apart from the fact that I changed game modes, there was another big factor, which led to the achievement of this final result...

The Summoner Upgrade

No, I didn't win money with a sports bet, I didn't even invest money from a power-down, I made a reflection, assuming the fact of a rental of some Rare Summoner at the 8th level, how I exceeded 2,800 points for the 1st time, 3 or 4 days before the closing of last Season, I stopped, I looked at all the Rare Summoners present on the rental market, I compared the various costs, and then I left, Fire, Life and finally Earth, own Obsidian, which I already use on a personal level enhanced at the 6th level, after making this move, I had a little alternation, then, slowly, the results proved me right, as I settled between the 2,900 points and 3,000 points, with a safety margin from the 2,800 rating points, below which I would have slipped back into Lega Oro I, but in the last 2 days of the season I never actually ran into that danger, and I can't hide from you the joy of this fact, I was really happy, But I also realized another fact...

Try not to depend on rental

Kron the Undying, Legendary Card of the Earth Element, my favorite, this is a Card that can be found quite easily, at the rental level, with relatively affordable costs, while as far as the purchase is concerned directly, the situation changes clearly, it costs a lot, even at a discount for multiple purchases, it takes a few hundred dollars, too many for my current (and I think also future) finances, so I necessarily have to rent it, but the situation changes clearly for when it concerns other cards, for example this other one here...

Goblin Psychic, Common Card always of the Earth Element, I own it enhanced to the 7th level, out of the 10 available, by renting Obsidian at the 8th level I could, hypothetically, rent it at full power, unfortunately in the end of the last Season there wasn't a Card with those characteristics in the rental market, so I couldn't count on the additional strength of the last 3 levels, it wasn't a hallucinating difference, as Goblin Psychic acquires, from 7th to 10th th level, 2 more lives and the Dispel skill, but more and more frequently the matches, especially at medium-high levels such as the Diamond Leagues, are won and lost for one shot more or less, so everything what can be obtained from the formation that takes sides can be useful and fundamental, summing up these last speeches, I return to the title of this paragraph, try not to depend on hire, when you own a Card, or an Evoker, it's yours, and you can do with it what v you and you can use it, in the absence of rating score limitations, at the level you prefer, while in the case of rentals, rental cost aside, there is always the unknown factor that the Card you want is actually available on the market...

Further Considerations

Last Season's finale allowed me to realize another fact, even if broadly speaking I already had a fairly precise idea, having rented the Fire, Life and Earth Summoners at maximum power, I had the effective possibility of deploy the Cards that I had previously upgraded to the Top, realizing that the Fire Element is very scarce at high revs, compared to the Life Element or the Earth Element, I could try to concentrate, in the future, on this Element, to fill a bit the gap with the other 2 Elements and probably also with the others (apart from the Dragon Element because it is the most deficient of all), or give this Element as lost, in the sense of letting it go to its destiny, to concentrate on the remaining, that aware of the fact that it is the last one that I should use, in almost all game cristances, in fact I have never had a great feeling with this element, even if I could change my mind, for the sake of At the moment I really think that I will try to create a sort of lineup of purchases, in which to consider different parameters, such as cost, benefits, usefulness of the various Cards, without forgetting any discounts for multiple purchases, also taking care of my cash availability , because I am more and more convinced of the fact that...

Think of Splinterlands as a business...

If you play on this platform like this, for pure pleasure, it's a matter of course, but if you want to achieve any goal, you have to try to plan a sort of program to achieve it, or at least have ideas, guidelines to comply with in order to make it everything more easily achievable, only in this way will we have full satisfaction in what we do above, and if we don't achieve our goal, at least we will be at peace with our conscience for having done our best, and any failure will be from search for causes external to our work...

Oggi è il 19 gennaio 2023, da qualche giorno si è chiusa la Stagione di Splinterlands e dopo un tempo che oserei definire come infinito, finalmente sono riuscito a terminare in Lega Diamante III, no, non parlerò dell'apertura degli scrigni, se non, forse, con accenni molto leggeri, ma vorrei soffermare la mia attenzione su altri discorsi, ad esempio su come sia stato possibile per me centrare questo risultato...

Occorre fare una premessa doverosa, dopo aver letto qualche post in giro relativo all'opportunità o meno di passare in modalità Modern, all'inizio della passata Stagione ho deciso per il cambio, certo, la ripartenza da 0 è stata molto traumatica, poi, lentamente, ho iniziato a scalare di Lega in Lega, andando addirittura a toccare, per un paio di partite, la Lega Diamante II, ma a parte il fatto di aver cambiato modalità di gioco, c'è stato un altro grande fattore, che ha determinato il raggiungimento di questo risultato finale...

Il potenziamento degli Evocatori

No, non ho vinto cifra con una scommessa sportiva, non ho nemmeno investito soldi da un power-down, ho fatto una riflessione, ipotizzando il fatto di un noleggio di qualche Evocatore Raro all'8° livello, come ho superato i 2,800 punti per la 1° volta, 3 o 4 giorni prima della chiusura della scorsa Stagione, mi sono fermato, ho guardato tutti gli Evocatori Rari presenti sul mercato del noleggio, ho confrontato i vari costi, e poi sono partito, Fuoco, Vita e infine Terra, proprio Obsidian, che già impiego a livello personale potenziato al 6° livello, dopo aver fatto questa mossa, ho avuto un po' di alternanza, poi, lentamente, i risultati mi hanno dato ragione, in quanto mi sono installato tra i 2,900 punti e i 3,000 punti, con un margine di sicurezza dai 2,800 punti di rating, al di sotto dei quali sarei ripiombato in Lega Oro I, ma negli ultimi 2 giorni di Stagione non ho mai corso concretamente quel pericolo, e non vi nascondo la gioia di questo fatto, sono rimasto davvero contento, ma mi sono reso conto anche di un altro fatto...

Cercare di non dipendere da noleggio

Kron the Undying, Carta Leggendaria dell'Elemento Terra, il mio preferito, questa è una Carta che si trova abbastanza facilmente, a livello di noleggio, con costi relativamente accessibili, mentre per quello che concerne il discorso di acquisto diretto, il discorso cambia nettamente, costa parecchio, anche in sconto per acquisto multiplo, occorrono alcune centinaia di dollari, troppi per le mie finanze attuali (e penso anche future), per cui devo per forza noleggiarla, ma il discorso cambia nettamente per quando riguarda altre carte, ad esempio quest'altra qua...

Goblin Psychic, Carta Comune sempre dell'Elemento Terra, la possiedo potenziata al 7° livello, sui 10 disponibili, noleggiando Obsidian all'8° livello potrei, ipoteticamente, noleggiarla a tutta potenza, purtroppo alla fine della passata Stagione non c'era una Carta con quelle caratteristiche nel mercato del noleggio, per cui non ho potuto contare sulla forza ulteriore degli ultimi 3 livelli, non era un differenza allucinante, in quanto Goblin Psychic acquisisce, dal 7° al 10° livello, 2 Vite in più e l'abilità Dispel, ma sempre più frequentemente le partite, soprattutto a livelli medio-alti come le Leghe Diamante, si vincono e si perdono per un colpo in più o in meno, per cui tutto quello che si può ottenere dalla formazione che si schiera può essere utile e fondamentale, tirando le somme di questi ultimi discorsi, ritorno al titolo di questo paragrafo, cercare di non dipendere dal noleggio, quando si possiede una Carta, o un Evocatore, è tuo, e ci puoi fare quello che vuoi e lo puoi utilizzare, in assenza di limitazioni di punteggio di rating, al livello che si preferisce, mentre nel caso dei noleggi, costo del noleggio a parte, c'è sempre l'incognita che la Carta che si desidera sia effettivamente disponibile sul mercato...

Ulteriori considerazioni

Il finale della scorsa Stagione mi ha permesso di rendermi conto anche di un altro fatto, anche se a grandi linee avevo già un'idea abbastanza precisa, avendo noleggiato alla massima potenza gli Evocatori Fuoco, Vita e Terra, ho avuto l'effettiva possibilità di schierare le Carte che avevo in precedenza potenziato al Top, rendendomi conto che l'Elemento Fuoco è molto scarso agli alti regimi, rispetto all'Elemento Vita o all'Elemento Terra, potrei cercare di concentrarmi, in futuro, su questo Elemento, per colmare un po' il divario con gli altri 2 Elementi e probabilmente anche con gli altri (Elemento Drago a parte perché è il più deficitario in assoluto), oppure dare come per perso questo Elemento, nel senso di lasciarlo andare al suo destino, per concentrarmi sui restanti, che consapevole del fatto che è l'ultimo che dovrei utilizzare, in quasi tutte le cricostanze di gioco, in effetti non ho mai avuto un grandissimo feeling con questo Elemento, anche se potrei cambiare idea, per il momento penso proprio che cercherò di realizzare una sorta di scaletta degli acquisti, dove considerare diversi parametri, quali costo, benefici, utilità delle varie Carte, senza dimenticare eventuali sconti per acquisti multipli, badando anche a quelle che sono le mie disponibilità di cassa, perché sono sempre più convinto del fatto che...

Occorre pensare a Splinterlands come a un'impresa...

Se si gioca su questa piattaforma così, per puro diletto, è un discorso, ma se si vuole conseguire un qualsiasi obiettivo, bisogna cercare di pianificare una sorta di programma per realizzarlo, o almeno avere delle idee, delle linee guida a cui conformarsi per rendere il tutto più agevolmente realizzabile, solamente in questa maniera avremo piena soddisfazione in quello che facciamo qua sopra, e se non centreremo il nostro scopo, almeno saremo a posto con la nostra coscienza per aver fatto del nostro meglio, e l'eventuale insuccesso sarà da ricercare in cause esterne al nostro operato...

Considerazioni finali

Non vorrei avervi annoiato con quanto ho affermato in questo post, ma penso che una buona percentuale dei giocatori di Splinterlands cerchi di ottenere il massimo da questa piattaforma, che è pur sempre un gioco, ma è anche tanto altro, di questo sono assolutamente certo, per cui se volete, per qualsiasi motivo, provare la sensazione di giocare su Splinterlands e non siete ancora iscritti, potete utilizzare, se vorrete, il mio link di affiliazione per iscrivervi...
