How difficult it was, starting to play practically from scratch, starting to compete again from the minor leagues resembled a real nightmare for me, as it is a completely different way of playing...

I used to have Playing Cards maxed out, or at least a good portion of the ones I usually used, now they were all low level, where to start rebuilding, buy Summoners again and upgrade everything, but first I had to win battles , and go up from League to League, in order to be able to use the Cards again at optimal levels, it wasn't even easy to establish which strategies to use, because there was only one truth...

I was no longer able to play in the minor leagues

I had to learn to play again from the initial fundamental schemes, if in my first gaming experience on Splinterlands, the one with which I had built that wonderful set of Cards and Evocators that had been irretrievably stolen from me, I had grown up almost by popular acclaim, without particular schemes but only due to the push of all those great Charters that I had admirably acquired, now every step carefully pondered, every stage had to be carefully scrutinized, before being put into being, because if I did one thing, I could hardly do it in the short term other...

Choice of Summoners of Rebirth

I was tremendously tied to the memory of the Summoners I owned, which were the historical ones, the ones that were once rented when the 1st kit of Cards was purchased to start playing, and they were the 6 Rare Summoners that have remained in my heart, even if in some specific Element the new Summoners that I was forced to buy, for some practical reasons, did not make me regret them much, whether they are Malric Inferno, Alric Stormbringer, Lyanna Natura, Tyrus Paladium, Zintar Mortalis and Delwin Dragonscale...

Memories that still hurt after some time

I realize every now and then how much I am still tied to some aspects of my 1st Deck of Cards, of course, time has been mitigating and easing the feeling of pain for that damned theft, but take for example what just happened, when I remembered the names of the Summoners I owned, I remembered them all, I wrote them down by heart, without missing a single letter, because by now they were like family to me, they were all upgraded to max level, with some then the feeling was very high, the Summoner that I miss terribly, even if in recent times the harmony with the new Summoner has definitely increased, it's just this below...

Alric Stormbringer, the Great Old Man, as I had renamed him over time, a year and a half ago those 6 Summoners cost so much, the difference in cost with the ones I actually went to buy was remarkable , now there's not so much margin, the only one who remains out of reach is him, today as then, Alric Stormbringer, and he's also the one I miss the most, because together with him there were also several Cards, also upgraded to the maximum level, which interact wonderfully with their reference Summoner, taking advantage of the boost guaranteed by the additional fire unit, I'm talking about Cards of the caliber of Ruler of the Seas, Phantom of the Abyss, Ice Pixie, Medusa, Captain's Ghost, to mention only those upgraded to the maximum level that enjoyed the increase in firepower, I could field very powerful formations, unfortunately the verb to use in this field is a verb conjugated in the past tense, those formations are no longer possible for me to deploy, I only remember them now, from this point of view I have already turned the page for some time, Vera Salacia, my current Summoner, does not have the performance of Alric Stormbringer but I have to adapt, the cost of the Grand Old Man is even now very high, well over 10 dollars per unit...

In the remaining Elements, if I have to be honest, I don't feel any great shortcomings, in the transition from the old to the new Summoners, indeed, in some cases, one in particular, I find myself even better than in the past, the suspect is...

General Sloan, Summoner of the Element of Life, maybe there will also be many people who will prefer Tyrus Paladium, I think differently, as I love taking advantage of the ranged strike boost that this Summoner allows, it was also the 1st of the mini-series of Summoners that I brought to full power, so I also grew fond of him a bit, even if he is now adequately supported by 2 other maxed Summoners, Qid Yuff and Vera Salacia ...

The passage of time

The passing of months, precisely 19 from the event that upset my gaming experience on Splinterlands, the mega-theft of my playing cards, made what happened more bearable, this fact was inevitable, but forgetting what was practically impossible, because there are several factors that constantly remind me of this, starting with the series of airdrops that started subsequently, initially linked to the amount of Deck Power held, then subsequently to the stake of SPS tokens, in the 1st case or in the 2nd there is always the missing component of that Deck of Cards that no longer exists, I would have had a much higher amount of SPS tokens, which would have allowed me to do many things, too bad, my lips are tight now, a deep veil of melancholy envelops me in this moment, then passes, as always, then, when the mind slips into certain meanderings, it returns, reviving that sense of profound sadness that engulfs everything...

Sometimes, talking about what happened in real life, ordinary people reproach me for not having sold the Playing Cards, with the great quotations that had reached the point, the question is legitimate, but we, Splinterlands players, we know it well because I didn't touch that Deck of Cards, because, synthetically speaking, every single Card was precious, because it produced a sort of income, in various forms, greater chances of victory in battles (with gain of tokens), distribution of airdrops , increase in chests at the end of the Season, and more, moving even a few pawns of those arrays of Cards didn't make much sense, there were very few of them that I used little or nothing, so all of these were useful...

And now

Several months have passed since that sad event, I have already forgotten the initial difficulties, even if they are part of a wealth of experiences that leave their mark, I have a couple of months, maybe 3, I switched to Modern game mode, and finally I managed to return to play in the Diamond Leagues, even if the fight and the competition is really high, I'm continuing to enhance my Deck of Cards, because I slowly see my average rating score going down (I'll come back to this concept in the next post of participation in this Contest), the satisfaction of playing on Splinterlands is unique, the memory of what I was able to build I will carry with me forever, every now and then the mind travels to the wonderful period of the 1st half of that incredible 2021, knowing full well that it will be, in 99.99999% of cases, unrepeatable, but being able to create even just a faded photocopy of what was my Deck of Cards at the time would be a success, in any case I will continue to fight forever to reach the highest possible rating step, the real dream remains only that, the return to the Champion Leagues, but this is really another matter altogether...

Quanto è stato difficile, riprendere a giocare praticamente da zero, ripartire a competere dalle Leghe minori assomigliò per me a un vero e proprio incubo, in quanto è tutto un altro modo di giocare...

Ero abituato ad avere le Carte da gioco potenziate al massimo, o almeno una buona parte di quelle che utilizzavo solitamente, ora erano tutte a basso livello, dove iniziare a ricostruire, a comprare nuovamente Evocatori e potenziare il tutto, ma prima dovevo vincere delle battaglie, e salire di Lega in Lega, per poter impiegare nuovamente le Carte a livello ottimali, non era nemmeno facile stabilire quali strategie utilizzare, perché la verità era una solamente...

non ero più capace a giocare nelle Leghe minori

Dovetti imparare nuovamente a giocare dagli schemi fondamentali iniziali, se nella mia prima esperienza di gioco su Splinterlands, quella con cui avevo costruito quel meraviglioso set di Carte ed Evocatori che mi erano stati irrimediabilmente rubati, ero cresciuto quasi a furor di popolo, senza schemi particolari ma solamente per la spinta di tutte quelle grandi Carte che avevo mirabilmente acquistato, adesso ogni passo andato ponderato attentamente, ogni tappa doveva essere attentamente vagliata, prima di essere posta in essere, perché se facevo una cosa, difficilmente nel breve periodo potevo farne altre...

Scelta degli Evocatori della rinascita

Ero tremendamente legato al ricordo degli Evocatori che possedevo, che ero quelli storici, quelli che venivano un tempo noleggiati quando si acquistava il 1° kit di Carte per iniziare a giocare, ed erano i 6 Evocatori Rari che mi sono rimasti nel cuore, anche se in qualche specifico Elemento i nuovi Evocatori che sono stato costretto ad acquistare, per alcune ragioni di ordine pratico, non me li hanno fatti rimpiangere più di tanto, si tratti di Malric Inferno, Alric Stormbringer, Lyanna Natura, Tyrus Paladium, Zintar Mortalis e Delwin Dragonscale...

Ricordi che fanno ancora male a distanza di tempo

Mi rendo conto ogni tanto di quanto io sia ancora legato ad alcuni aspetti del mio 1° Deck di Carte, certo, il tempo fa mitigando e attenuando la sensazione di dolore per quel maledetto furto subito, ma prendete ad esempio quello che è appena successo, quando ho ricordato i nomi degli Evocatori che possedevo, li ho ricordati tutti quanti, li ho scritti a memoria, senza sbagliare una singola lettera, perché ormai erano come di famiglia per me, erano tutti potenziati al massimo livello, con alcuni poi il feeling era elevatissimo, l'Evocatore di cui sento terribilmente la mancanza, anche se negli ultimi tempi la sintonia con il nuovo Evocatore è decisamente aumentata, è proprio questo qua sotto...

Alric Stormbringer, il Grande Vecchio, come lo avevo ribattezzato con il passare del tempo, un anno e mezzo fa quei 6 Evocatori costano veramente tanto, la differenza di costo con quelli che andai effettivamente a comprare era notevole, adesso non c'è più tanto margine, l'unico che rimane fuori portata è proprio lui, oggi come allora, Alric Stormbringer, ed è pure quello di cui ho la più forte nostalgia, perché insieme a lui c'erano anche diverse Carte, anche loro potenziate al massimo livello, che interagirano a meraviglia con il loro Evocatore di riferimento, sfruttando il potenziamento garantito dall'unità aggiuntiva di fuoco, sto parlando di Carte del calibro di Ruler of the Seas, Phantom of the Abyss, Ice Pixie, Medusa, Captain's Ghost, per citare solamente quelli potenziati al massimo livello che godevano dell'incremento di potenza di fuoco, potevo mettere in campo formazioni molto potenti, purtroppo il verbo da utilizzare in questo campo è un verbo coniugato al passato, quelle formazioni non è più possibile per me schierarle, le ricordo solamente ora, da questo punto di vista ho già girato pagina da tempo, Vera Salacia, il mio Evocatore attuale, non possiede le prestazioni di Alric Stormbringer ma mi devo adattare, il costo del Grande Vecchio è anche adesso molto elevato, supera abbondantemente i 10 dollari per unità...

Nei restanti Elementi, se devo essere sincero, non sento grandi mancanze, nel passaggio dai vecchi ai nuovi Evocatori, anzi, in alcuni casi, uno in particolare, mi trovo addirittura meglio rispetto al passato, l'indiziato è...

General Sloan, Evocatore dell'Elemento Vita, magari ci saranno anche tante persone che preferiranno Tyrus Paladium, io la penso diversamente, in quanto adoro sfruttare il potenziamento dei colpi a distanza che questo Evocatore consente, è stato pure il 1° della mini-serie di Evocatori che ho portato alla massima potenza, per cui mi sono pure affezionato un po' a lui, anche se adesso è adeguatamente supportato da altri 2 Evocatori maxati, Qid Yuff e Vera Salacia...

Il trascorrere del tempo

Il passare dei mesi, precisamente 19 dall'evento che ha stravolto la mia esperienza di gioco su Splinterlands, il mega-furto delle mie Carte da gioco, ha reso più sopportabile quello che successe, era inevitabile questo fatto, ma dimenticare quello che era è praticamente impossibile, perché ci sono diversi fattori che me lo rammentano costantemente, a iniziare dalla serie di airdrop che sono partiti successivamente, collegati inizialmente alla quantità di Deck Power che si detenevano, poi successivamente allo stake di tokens SPS, nel 1° caso o nel 2° c'è sempre la componente mancante di quel Deck di Carte che non c'è più, avrei avuto una quantitativo di tokens SPS decisamente superiore, che mi avrebbe consentito di fare tante cose, peccato davvero, le mie labbra sono serrate adesso, un profondo velo di malinconia mi avvolge in questo momento, poi passa, come sempre, poi, quando la mente va a infilarsi in certi meandri, ritorna, ravvivando quel senso di profonda tristezza che inghiotte tutto quanto...

A volte, parlando nella vita reale di quello che successe, le persone comuni mi rimproverano il fatto di non aver venduto le Carte da gioco, con le grandi quotazioni che erano arrivate a toccare, la domanda è lecita, ma noi, giocatori di Splinterlands, lo sappiamo bene perché io non toccai quel Deck di Carte, perché, sinteticamente parlando, ogni singola Carta era preziosa, perché produceva una sorta di reddito, sotto diverse forme, maggiori possibilità di vittoria nelle battaglie (con guadagno di tokens), distribuzione di airdrop, incremento degli scrigni di fine Stagione, e altro ancora, muovere anche poche pedine di quegli schieramenti di Carte non avevo molto senso, erano veramente poche quelle che utilizzavo poco o niente, per cui erano tutte queste utili...

E adesso

Sono passati parecchi mesi da quel triste evento, le difficoltà iniziali le ho già dimenticate, anche se fanno parte di un bagaglio di esperienze che lasciano il segno, ho un paio di mesi, forse 3, sono passato in modalità di gioco Modern, e finalmente sono riuscito a ritornare a giocare nelle Leghe Diamante, anche se la lotta e la concorrenza è davvero alta, sto continuando a potenziare il mio Deck di Carte, perché vedo lentamente scendere il mio punteggio medio di rating (su questo concetto ritornerò nel prossimo post di partecipazione a questo Contest), la soddisfazione di giocare su Splinterlands è unica, il ricordo di quello che ero riuscito a costruire lo porterò per sempre con me, ogni tanto la mente viaggia al meraviglioso periodo della 1° metà di quell'incredibile 2021, ben sapendo che sarà, al 99,99999% dei casi, irripetibile, ma riuscire a creare anche solamente una fotocopia sbiadita di quello che era il mio Deck di Carte di allora sarebbe un successo, in ogni caso continuerò perennemente a lottare per raggiungere il più alto step possibile di rating, il sogno vero rimane solamente quello, il ritorno nelle Leghe Campione, ma questo è davvero tutto un altro discorso...

Penso di aver chiarito abbastanza le sensazioni, le impressioni che una piattaforma di gioco come Splinterlands mi ha trasmesso e continua imperterrita a trasmettermi, per i motivi che ho esposto durante queste 3 puntate di partecipazione al Contest non posso fare a meno di continuare a spingere e a credere fermamente nelle concrete potenzialità di redditività che Splinterlands è in grado di garantire, sì, perché come spesso si dice, Splinterlands è molto di più di un semplice gioco ma va equiparato in tutto e per tutto a un investimento vero e proprio, da tenere in giusta e corretta considerazione, se anche voi volete provare a fare un vostro personale percorso su questa stimata piattaforma di gioco e non siete ancora iscritti, potete farlo utilizzando, se vorrete, il mio link di affiliazione...
