Finally Got my spellbook!!!

Hey guys, it’s been a series of events for me here in Splinterlands. It hasn’t been quite easy but then again I didn’t expect it to be since I’m still a newbie here. Things have become a bit clearer as to how the game works, my strategy is getting better but only in specific splints. I’m not so good at strategizing in some other splints, for example; Death.

After I was able to get enough money from my posts here on hive, I proceeded to buy a summoners spellbook. I remember when I made my first post here and I said I planned on buying one, well I finally did😅. After buying the spellbook, I was given 3,000 credits, much too my suprise. I noticed I started earning Dark Energy Crystals(DEC’s) after most battles although they’re not much.

Bronze League Progress
My journey in Bronze has been a series of ups and downs. Getting to bronze three(III) was easy enough for me but then getting to bronze two(II) was even harder. Points were automatically subtracted from me after each failed battle, making it more difficult to reach bronze two(II). But slowly I got the hang of things and adjusted to the situation and improved on my strategy. I finally got to bronze two(II), now the issue was getting to bronze one(I). I noticed the rules had changed, before combat rules were standard but on getting here they were being changed for each battle. I automatically dropped back to bronze three(III) after so many failed attempts 😭.

Each combat rule was different and it was difficult trying to really understand what was meant, thinking of cards to use, the best strategy to use, etc. Left to me, I would say this where the real game begins. Every other thing I’ve been doing looks like child’s play compared to this.

New Card!!!

After I had so much trouble winning battles with the free cards, my friend offered to delegate a card to me. The card is really nice to say the least, it has great features as well. Either it because of this or I just have a thing for the water splinter.

So far, this card has been really helpful to me. Because I’ve won quite a handful of battles with this particular card.

What next?

Now that I know the ability and usefulness of rented cards, I plan on renting some cards but just a few since I’m still practicing. I wouldn’t want to waste my credits 😅. I still plan on watching a couple of YouTube videos about card renting then I’d rent suggested cards. Also I would only rent cards in splinters i feel like I’m better In strategizing than those I’m not too good/terrible in.

I still need to improve on my strategy while I figure out how to get back to bronze two(II) and further progesss into bronze one (I) hopefully before the season runs out. I’d also figure out ways to grasp and strategize with different combat rules in a better way.

I intend on researching about the difference from playing in modern and playing in wild. I’m still confused at this point. But I can tell from my trials in both that playing in wild is way more difficult than modern.

These are what I intend on doing for the mean time. While I move forward, I’d find out more things that confuse me and things I feel like I should know.
