THE BATTLE

img_1647.png

It wasn’t looking like I’d win after I saw my opponents line up. It’s not like I had an option of backing out at the point in the battle.

img_1648.png

After the first round, it looked promising because I had knocked out two of my opponents cards and mine was still complete.

img_1649.png

By round three now, my hope had risen past the previous level at which it was in. All four of my cards were still in the battle and my opponent had just one left.

img_1650.png

At the beginning of round four, I had lost one of my cards - Chaos Knight. But I still felt I had the upper hand.

img_1651.png
Round Five I still had all three cards intact and my opponent had one.

img_1652.png
Round six and the final round! I had lost my second card - Portal Spinner but I still ended up victorious and had two cards left after the battle - Stitch Leech and Celestial Harpy.

Why did I Position each card like that?
Truth be told, I don’t have a lot of reasons. I’m still a newbie in this game. Well for one I always try to put a card with a melee attack as my first monster, I chose Chaos Knight because it had armor which I needed, I believed that I didn’t have enough mana to pick the card I would’ve chosen, I decided to pick based on armor and health. Since I was trying to manage my mana cap I decided to use the portal spinner as my second monster. I had just eight mana cap left after this. I opted for a card with a sneak attack- Stitch Leech, since it could target other weak cards. Finally, my last card, with just two mana cap left. I decided to go for a card with abilities and Celestial Harpy had two abilities- opportunity and flying. So why not? 😇

Why are they a good fit with Portal spinner?

Like I said, I’m still a newbie so I haven’t had the time to explore all the cards properly. Portal spinner’s ability was new to me so I decided to pick cards I was familiar with their abilities.

Did my Strategy work?

Well yes it did 😇. I ended up wining the battle.

Will I try it differently next time?

Definitely I would. I’m trying to explore here and try out different strategies and cards. How would I learn without doing things differently?

Do I like Portal Spinner

Whatever my answer is wouldn’t be definite because I may end up changing my mind later in future.
But truthfully No. I don’t like the card currently.

Why Not?

Well for one, I lost a lot of battles with the card before I decided to re-strategize and then I won this one. I also felt like it didn’t attack my opponents enough and was easily beaten.
