I have a level 2 version of the Time Mage with the slow ability. This rare 4 mana card is a good asset to your line up when you are using the Life splinter. Today I had s Life Quest so this worked out perfectly. I used the Time mage in multiple battles and only lost one of the ones I used this card in. I chose the last battle in my quest today you can see my featured battle here.

This was a 32 mana cap battle with the rules Weak Magic meaning magic attacks hit armor before health. Also Even Stevens meaning only even mana cards may be used in the battle. My opponent also selected the Life splinter and used the Time Mage card in their line up.

My Line Up

Summoner

I used General Sloan who gives all friendly monsters with range attack plus 1 range. I have this summoner at level 2 which allows me to play common cards up to level 3, rare and epic cards up to level 2 and legendary cards at level 1.

1st Position

I Put Chaos Knight, a good 6 mana melee attack card with the shield ability weakening the affects of melee and range attacks. This card has 4 health, 3 shield, 3 speed and 3 melee attack. This is a solid lower mana tank with some good speed and and heavy attack.

2nd Position

I used the Luminous Eagle with the reach and flying abilities. This is a 6 mana card and has 5 health, 3 speed and 2 melee attack. With the reach ability this card is great in the second position. The flying ability and 3 speed make this a fairly hard monster to hit.

3rd Position

I went with Zenith Archer a 2 mana card that has 3 health, 1 speed and 1 range attack. It also gains 1 range attack from the summoner making hit a little harder. I put this low mana card in the middle hoping it would get a few attacks in while it could.

4th Position

I used the featured card Time Mage a 4 mana card with the slow ability. It has 3 health, 1 magic attack and 5 speed. Not only does this card slow my whole opponents line up but the higher speed make it hard to hit so it normally last for a long time.

5th Position

I put Tower Griffin with the flying ability. A 4 mana card with 3 health, 1 range attack and 3 speed this card is another hard to hit card that receives plus one range attack from the summoner.

6th Position

In the final position I threw in Pelacor Arbalest a 6 mana card with the double strike ability 3 health, 2 range attack and 2 speed. Receiving plus 1 range attack and having the double strike ability I love this card with the possibility of doing 6 damage per round.

This battle started off with both of us using some of the same cards but I think the options I put in the first and second position allowed me to push through and win. Check out my battle here.

I hope you enjoy the battle and maybe even get some ideas in some of the strategy of the game. See you next time.

Thanks for sharing! - @mango-juice

liked your strategy of using a strong defence at front and protecting the time mage.
