For this occasion, I will be sharing with you my analysis of the characters from the new edition, the most resilient cards that can occupy the tank position. I will be acquiring these cards for rent and sharing with you every relevant detail that will allow you to fine-tune your gameplay and strategies, making use of these characters.
Each of the characters mentioned below has a specific function and strategy, which will be selected based on the scenario, the game rules, and considering the possible alignment of my opponent. Most of these characters have high mana costs, which sometimes limits their execution in battle.
The characters selected to carry out the following theme are:
- Chaos golem (Fire Splinter).
- Lord thanalor (Earth Splinter).
- Bera dallin (Life Splinter).
Evaluating the daily costs of each of these cards, they average between 5 and 6 DEC per BCX. For those who do not have their own cards and are forced to rent characters each season, it is a very economical option to temporarily acquire these editions, as their gameplay abilities and attributes compensate for the high mana costs. I am a proponent of "quality over quantity," and sometimes just a good alignment of 2 or 3 characters can overthrow a complete team.
Battle & Strategy
For the first exposition and detail of the strategy implemented in this battle, I want to start with the Life Splinter, as I consider it to be one of the most effective since I began executing this alignment.
- Bera dallin as an alternate Tank.
The basis of this effective alignment lies in the healing ability of the summoner. A monster must be positioned in the first slot with the "Flank" ability to position Bera in the second slot and enable her shield and melee attack. The regenerative ability is granted to the target of the rival attacks, all attacks will be directed at Bera thanks to her "Taunt" ability. As she channels all the attacks, I like to position monsters with the "Sniper" or "Opportunity" ability to coordinate the dismantling of the rival team. Supporting Bera's integrity with the summoner's ability was a good idea, but thanks to her "Armored Strike" ability, which allows her to attack with shield points against her rival, it is convenient for me to keep a portion of the shield in constant recovery since this allows her to attack twice
Another example of "quality over quantity" and the effectiveness of "Armored Strike" against the masses, this is another battle that reflects the same ideals mentioned in the previous battle and in a more summarized and simple way of how a single monster can overthrow a complete team.
Now for the second battle, I want to talk about the gameplay characteristics implemented in Chaos golem, this fierce combatant from the Fire Splinter which possesses high resistance and defenses against long-range attacks.
- Chaos golem (Main Tank).
The strategy implemented for this exponent is a basic and very easy to identify strategy, based on the use of characters with the ability to regenerate shields and characters with attacks directed to the lower slots. While the tank withstands the most number of impacts and returns part of the damage received, the characters with attack abilities must disrupt the rival team, weakening their battle shield while they attack the monster in the first slot.
It is an effective strategy against increased close combat attacks or when the rival positions with long-range attack characters. It is vulnerable to magic and shield regression strategies for close combat damage. I usually use it gradually according to the classification of teams with which my rival has participated..
Finally, but not least, we have this example of magical damage characteristics, which is a good example and from my point of view, one of the best cards released in this new edition. Due to its gameplay characteristics and combat attributes, I have decided to position it as a transitional tank.
- Lord Thanalor (Transitional Tank).
The strategy used with this character consists of taking advantage of its magical damage, which allows it to attack from any position, increase magical damage, and position a monster to deflect enemy impacts. It can be a low attribute character, where the mana cost is almost nil, or it can even be combined with a "martyr." This character should be positioned one slot back from where we want it to defend so that it can avoid the first impact and attack again in the second round. Its speed and good ability to withstand impacts allow it to be present for a couple of rounds. I consider it more effective when combined with regenerative abilities.
The effectiveness of this strategy depends a lot on the playable mana in the game and the possible alignment of my rival. If they concentrate their attacks in the last slots, they may disarm this strategy, leaving the strongest character of my team without healing. It is not effective when the rules affect magical damage or when the rival establishes the necessary methods to reduce the impact of my attacks. As in the bronze league, few play in this way, there is a high probability of obtaining the victory.
Conclusion
Among the 3 characters mentioned, I consider the Earth and Life Splinters to be the most versatile. I felt very comfortable playing with them, and based on the results obtained from all my battles, I achieved the majority of victories with these occupants. In summary, it's not just about the characters; this edition is well thought out and has a wide variety of characters with incredible gameplay characteristics. I am certain that many of these editions will be very valuable in a few years.

Para esta ocasión, estaré compartiendo con ustedes mi análisis de los personajes de la nueva edición, las cartas mas resistentes que pueden desempeñar las posiciones de (Tanque) ocupando la primera casilla. Estas cartas las estaré adquiriendo en manera de alquiler y compartiré con ustedes cada detalle relevante que les permita afinar su jugabilidad y estrategias dándole utilidad a estos personajes.
Cada uno de los personajes mencionados a continuación tienen una función y estrategia especifica, la cual será seleccionada según el escenario, las reglas de la partida y tomando en cuenta la posible alineación de mi rival. La gran mayoría de estos personajes son de costo saltos en mana, por lo que limita en algunas ocasiones su ejecución dentro de la batalla.
Los personajes seleccionados para llevar acabo la siguiente temática son:
- Chaos golem (Astilla de fuego).
- Lord thanalor (Astilla de tierra).
- Bera dallin (Astilla de vida).
Evaluando los costos por día de cada una de estas cartas, promedian entre 5 y 6 DEC por cada BCX. Aquellos que no tienen cartas propias y se ven obligados a rentar personajes en cada temporada, es una opción muy económica el adquirir de forma temporal estas ediciones, puesto que sus habilidades y atributos de juego compensan en gran manera los altos costos de mana. Soy participe de "calidad por encima de cantidad" y a veces solo basta de una buena alineación de 2 o 3 personajes para derrocar a un equipo completo.
Batalla y Estrategia
Para la primera exposición y detalle de la estrategia implementada en esta batalla, quiero comenzar con la astilla de vida, ya que considero que ha sido uno de las mas efectivas desde que comencé a ejecutar esta alineación.
- Bera dallin como Tanque alterno.
La base de esta efectiva alineación radica en la habilidad de sanación del invocador, se debe posicionar un monstruo en la primera casilla con la habilidad "Flank" para así posicionar a Bera en la segunda casilla y habilitar su ataque de escudo y cuerpo a cuerpo. Se otorga la habilidad regenerativa al foco de los ataques rivales, todos los ataques irán dirigidos a Bera gracias a su habilidad "Taunt". Como ella canalizara todos lo ataques, me gusta posicionar monstruos con la habilidad "Sniper" o "Opportunity" para que desarmen de manera coordinada al equipo rival. Respaldar la integridad de Bera con la habilidad del invocador fue buena idea, pero gracias a su habilidad "Armored Strike" que permite atacar con los puntos de escudo a su rival, me conviene mantener una porción del escudo en una constante recuperación puesto que esta permite que ataque 2 veces.
Otro ejemplar de "calidad por encima de cantidad" y la efectividad de "Armored Strike" frente a las masas, Esta es otra batalla la cual refleja los mismo ideales mencionados en la batalla anterior y de manera mas resumida y simple de como un solo monstruo puede derrocar a un equipo de juego completo.
Ya para la segunda batalla quiero hablar sobre las características de juego implementadas en Chaos golem, este fiero combatiente de la astilla de fuego el cual posee una alta resistencia y defensas frente los ataques a distancia.
- Chaos golem (Tanque principal).
La estrategia implementada para este exponente, es una estrategia básica y muy fácil de identificar, se baza en la utilización de personajes con la habilidad de regenerar el escudo y personajes con ataque destino a las casillas inferiores. Mientras el tanque soporta la mayor cantidad de impactos y devuelve parte del daño recibido los personajes con habilidades de ataque deben desajustar a el equipo rival, debilitando a su escudaron de batalla mientras ellos atacan al monstruo en la primera casilla.
Es una estrategia eficaz contra los ataques cuerpo a cuerpo aumentados, o cuando el rival se posiciona con personajes de ataque a distancia. Es vulnerable ante la magia y estrategias de escudo y regresión del daño cuerpo a cuerpo. Suelo darle utilidad de manera paulatina según la clasificación de equipos con las que mi rival haya participado.
Por ultimo, pero no menos importante tenemos este ejemplar de características de daño mágico, el cual es un buen ejemplar y desde mi punto de vista una de las mejores cartas lanzadas en esta nueva edición, Debido a sus características de juego y atributos de combate he decidido posicionarlo como tanque de transición.
- Lord Thanalor (Tanque de transición).
La estrategia utilizada con este personaje consiste en aprovechar su daño mágico el cual le permite atacar desde cualquier casilla, aumentar el daño mágico y posicionar un monstruo que desvié los impactos enemigos, puede ser un personajes de atributos bajos, donde el costo de mana sea casi nulo o incluso puede combinarse con algún "martyr". Este personaje debe ser posicionado una casilla mas atrás de la que queremos que defienda para que este pueda evitar el primer impacto y atacar nuevamente en la segunda ronda, su velocidad y buena capacidad de aguantar impactos permite que pueda hacerse presente durante un par de rondas, considero que es mas efectiva cuando se combina con habilidades regenerativas.
La efectividad de esta estrategia depende mucho del mana jugables según la partida, y la posible alineación de mi rival. Donde concentren sus ataques a las ultimas casilla puede que desarmen esta estrategia dejando sin curación al personaje mas fuerte de mi equipo. No es efectivo cuando las reglas afectan el daño mágico o el rival establece los métodos necesarios para reducir el impacto de mis ataques, como en la liga bronce son pocos los que juegan de esta manera existe alta probabilidad de obtener el triunfo.
Conclusión
Entre los 3 personajes mencionados considero que los mas versátiles fueron las astillas de tierra y vida. Me sentí muy cómodo al jugar con ellos, y en base al resultado obtenido entre todas mis batallas, la mayor cantidad de victorias las obtuve con estos ocupantes. En resumen, no solo se trata de personajes, esta edición esta muy resuelta y tiene una alta variedad de personajes con características de juego increíbles. Tengo la certeza de que muchas de estas ediciones serán muy costosas dentro de algunos años.
