Does the new rewards impact also merits? If merits go from 3x to 4x from tier 2 to tier 3 brawls and lower ends guild in tier 3 will still gain more that they would in tier 2, I think we will start seeing more guilds dipping into tier 3 soon.

Yes, merits are impacted indirectly, as they are calculated based on the number of Crowns received, and the Crown winnings will be modified as a result of this change.
