Good time to buy some packs as the Chaos sale is about to end

I hope all of you are doing well in your life and also enjoying the current pump at the moment. Well, we all here experienced the long bear run but looking at last few weeks, we can say that the downtrend getting reverse power which is trying to make it an uptrend. BTC just recently experienced another good pump and touched almost 25k$ this time and currently being traded for 24,486$ as you can see from chart below. As usual, with it’s own pump in price, BTC and ETH is also taking the crypto along with them for a pump trip. So, it’s a positive vibe in crypto space and our hive and it’s main tokens are also getting touched with the pump and rising in price.
As you can see from the last week chart of BTC price movement here, for most of the time it was trading near 21.5k$ but just after the valentine, it stated to get some momentum on 15th and making a sharp and long green candle upwards to 24.5k. The BTC is also strongly holding it’s price at the current time and didn't broke down in short time. It it gets support here then it will affect all the other alts as well. Our hive has also got the uptrend power and currently being sold for 0.457$ per unit now which shows a sound difference that it’s price before the trend. Even Our splinterlands game tokens seems to have caught the uptrend as DEC got some rise to it’s current price of 0.00073$ and SPS selling for 0.029$. As I have a decent staked SPS amount, I saw my total value went over a hundred dollars difference only after a day.
Upon that, when I got some free time and opened discord, I got the notification from Splinterlands discord and when I opened the announcement tab, I found out that the chaos legion packs are very close to be 14 million sold and as we are thus pretty close to the end of the Chaos era, for the past million packs, the Splinterlands team has announced a brand new ‘CHAOS SUNSET’ sale to boost this last million pack sale even further. This will be a new type of rewarding sale in where they will make a top 10 list for the last million pack sale. Whoever buys the maximum number of packs and makes it to top 10 while the that last million gets sold, they will get rewarded with wither a land or a Runi depending on their place in the top 10 rank.

Now, we already can see the current price of all previously sold packs like beta, untamed, orb etc and all of those old edition packs are now selling for way above their initial price. The base price of chaos legion pack on the other hand is only 4$ + or 4000 DEC on the official in-game shop tab, but that’s not all because in hive-engine, tokenized chaos packs are selling for even lower price - 2.255$ per pack. Now as we are getting almost near the end of chaos pack sale and pretty soon the sale will be completed and there will be no more chaos packs left in the official shop tab. Clearly, when the official sale end, the chaos pack prices on hive-engine will also increase over time and even if it touches back it’s base price 4$, that will be nearly double than it’s current price of 2.255$.
Thus, I saw a good opportunity in chaos packs and I think in future the price of chaos packs will increase from this point. Thanks to the splinterlands team who launched the last Sale event to sell these last million pack even faster and I guess the chaos era will finally be over within a couple of weeks from now. I was clearly seeing a trading opportunity here so I decided to buy some chaos packs from Hive-engine and keep them holding until I see a good profit on my little investment. So I rushed towards the hive-engine market to buy some chaos packs for me.
As I went there and inspected, I found out that the lowest sale order of chaos pack was 4.925 Hive per pack and lowest buy order was 4.815 hive per pack and the difference between buy and sell price was not that close. However, ai decided to buy just 25 chaos packs which would have costed me 123.125 hive if buying 25 packs from the lowest listed sell. So I decided to convert that much amount of hive into swap.hive so that I can make the purchase. I used the USWAP discounted bridge to make the conversion and got the sawp.hive into my hive-engine wallet within seconds and then I went for the trade page.
By the time I went again into the chaos pack trading page in hive-engine, the buy and sell prices were a buy rectified and came closer to each other. However, I wasn’t in a hurry so I placed a buy order myself rather than just buy directly from the sell order. After keeping an eye and updating my prices for a few time, I finally grabbed total 25 chaos packs for just 121.5 hive or 54.85$ for the whole purchase. As I was buying through buy order, I got those chaos packs for 4.86 hive each while the lowest sell price was 4.925 so there’s already a little profit that I made already.
However, for now I will keep these 25 chaos packs in my inventory and will wait for the golden days. After the chaos sale ends, My prediction for chaos pack price after a year or so is at least above 10$ per pack. Do you think the same or have a different opinion? This sounds like an awesome deal
Yes.. but it has some disadvantages as well.. packs bought from h-e wont count for airdrop or title etc.
That is a huge disadvantage I guess.. I believe there are probably a lot of users who will miss out from the airdrop since packs bought from hive engine won't count..
