MUSA SALINE - this magic reward card is a pure anti armor

What’s up my fellow splinterlands warriors!

I hope all of you are doing fantastic and enjoying this vibrant weekend with your friends and family. Now talking about the game, The last season just got finished and I hope that by now, all of you must have claimed and collected your season rewards. The new ranked season has started already as usual and only 12 days left for this current one to again meet its end. The last season was very good for me as I again got successful in securing the top spot at Diamond Leaderboard and got myself rewarded with 100k dec and for the season chests part, I was able to secure 101 season chests this time and snatched some good SPS and reward cards from the lot so I am definitely very happy with the outcome. Also, my collection of soul-bound reward cards is also rising high and most of those are already at or near gold league right now. But, as we know more and more cards are required when you upgrade to the next level so I think, It will be needing another few more months for me to complete upgrading all of them to the max level.

Now, I know most of us don't have max levels of these new edition reward cards yet, but many of them while at a lower level are still being used widely now in all formats of gameplay from ranked to tournaments and brawls and I got to admit that some of these cards are so powerful even at brown, silver or gold level that you can easily defeat your opponents with the help from them. Today, I am going to showcase such reward cards that I am starting to like very much and as you have guessed it already with the thumbnail, today I will be talking about the MUSA SALINE.

MUSA SALINE

Musa is a legendary type of card that belongs to the water splinter and was recently launched with the latest soul-bound card-set. This monster costs only 3 mana to be used for playing in battles and its attack type is magic. Now, let us take a detailed look at its league-wise stats and abilities below.

Bronze

At level 1, this monster can look to be a no-threat with only 1 magic attack at 3 speeds with 3 health along with the Scavenger's ability. But believe me, with this ability, its health becomes a tank after a time and you can rely on its defences even in bronze level.

Silver

This monster’s stat increased at the next level where its speed got increased from 3 speed to 4 speed and it also got a new ability Shatter. I really like this ability cause it breaks the armour of the attacked monster no matter how thick it is.

Gold

At level 3, this monster gets even more bugged up with 1 magic attack at 4 speed with 3 health along with a new ability - Dispel which will remove any positive stat effect from an enemy card when this card successfully attacks.

Diamond / Champion

When you upgrade this card to max level, this card will possess 2 magic attacks at 4 speed with 3 health while having all the 3 abilities that I mentioned above. Obviously, the increased magic attack will help you to kill down every card faster.

It was a small 18 mana limit match this time with only 4 splinterlands unlocked to be used in this match - Fire, Water, Earth and Life. There were 2 rulesets applied in this battle - Odd Ones out and Knock out and this time I decided to switch with Lux Vega summoner and choose water splinter as my preference to choose the cards from that splinter. Obviously, it was a small mana limit match which is limiting me from using my water monsters so I thought to focus attacking only on the feint part of the enemy lineup and thus designed my lineup accordingly.

At my front, I chose the Chaos Agent card mainly because of its high-speed evade + return damage abilities. Next, I choose the Tide Biter at the reach position so that it blocks any blast damage and also attacks the enjoy cards from its position. Then, I chose the Spirit Hoarder card to heal my backline monsters if wounded and then, I placed my main card the Saline at the fourth position so that it stays safe from attacks at the beginning of this match. At the fifth and last position, I selected the Angelic Mandarin card with high health and Triage ability so that it can heal itself or other backline monsters if wounded and thus help me stay alive for longer in this match.

As the match begins, my Musa really did a great job just in the first round by attacking the enemy Cruel and because of its shatter ability, the enemy monster’s big 7 armour got removed instantly and then, the poor cruel got itself killed in the same round while trying to attack my Agent but missed the target.

At the second round, my Musa attacked first from my side and this time as well, it attacked and removed the armour from the enemy Uraeus which then got killed by my Mandarin and Biter together in the same round and the enemy. The other enemy Spirit Hoarder also got dead right after when my own attacked and wounded it and then it missed its attack on my agent and got damaged in return.

When the third round came, the same process happened once again where the Musa attacked first and removed the armour from the enemy bandit and then both my Mandarin and Biter attacked back to back and killed the Bandit easily. I win the match in the next fifth round when my Musa took away the armour from the last living enemy minster chaos and then the Mandarin and biter did their job carefully to pull out the last opponent from out the battle!

I was really happy to play this particular match because I was not so confident at first about how the Musa would reach and perform in this actual match but as the match gets progressed, my respect for this card gets increased more and more in every next round.
