Scavo Chemist - The genius mole that lives deep underground

I hope all of you are well and also enjoying the weekend at it’s best! But do not forget splintering as the currently season is only 4 days away to end. So, let us all start hustling and claim our desired spot in the splinterlands tiers and in leaderboards.
Now, at First, let us take a quick peak at the current crypto market scenario and get ourselves updated with the current prices. The main dominator BTC has currently holding its position strong around 44k$ and trying to break through upwards. Currently it’s being traded at 44,916$ with an awesome 9.25% positive growth in last 7 days.
The ETH is also following the uptrend as usual and currently being traded for 3,182.38$ with a +12.13% positive growth in last 7 days.
The hive also doing well and maintaining it’s position around 1$ and currently being sold for 1.08$ with a massive 18.63% growth since last 7 days.
The Leo hive-engine token is currently being sold for 0.2058$ per unit with a 3.78% price rise in last 24 hours.
The splinterlands token market on the other hand is currently facing a downtrend. The main in game token DEC is currently being sold for 0.00194$ with a -31.0% price decrease in last 7 days. The SPS or splintershards token is however came above 0.1$ and currently being traded for 0.105$ with a +2.9% price rise in last 7 days. Vouchers for a long time sitting still around 1$ and waiting for next promotion to get pumped. I hope the dec price don't fall down from here only a small difference left for it to touch it’s pegged value.
Now, let us take a u turn from the market and move towards the Royal Arena because today, I am going to showcase another spectacular chaos monster, SCAVO CHEMIST 👨🔬
Scavo chemist is a special mole breed that belongs to the Realm of Silence which resides underneath the Pretoria. They are highly intelligent species that can research and discover new things. They have already got success in reducing the impact of blight on animals and people. The best of them became chemists and learned how to create cures of poisoned gas and also use them to weaken enemies on the other hand.
Scavo Chemist is a common type chaos card that belongs to the fire realm. It costs only 2 mana to use it in the battlefields and it has no attacking ability but some special abilities. Let us now get a deep dive and found out more about this monster tier wise.
At level 3, this monster gets 3 speed with 4 health along with the Cleanse ability. The cleanse ability will remove any negative status from your front card like - poison, slow etc.
At level 5, this monster gets 4 speed with 5 health. The increased health will help it to endure a bit more damage before going down.
At level 8, this monster gets 5 speed with 5 health and it also gets another ability - slow that it gets at level 6. The slow ability will reduce every enemy monster’s speed by 1.
At level 10, this card possesses 5 speed with 6 health and also gets another ability at this level, Headwinds. The headwinds will reduce every enemy monster’s range attack by 1. Negative speed and negative range attack to all the enemy cards, thats’s a good deal just for 2 mana, and don't forget to add cleanse with it.
Important points about SCAVO CHEMIST
This card doesn’t possess any kind of attack but in low mana limit matches, it can provide enough defence with its high speed + health alone.
A 2 mana cost monster with cleanse ability certainly becomes important as it goes well with medium or giant front defence monsters like Magnor, Grum, Serpentine Soldier etc. Getting your front defence cleaned every round can result with it’s longer life and thus more action.
The Slow ability may not be your key factor to chose this monster but it does help always as there are a good number of speed manipulator monsters in fire realm like flame imp, goblin shaman, flame monkey and most probably the opponent will also use one or multiple of them in speed friendly matches against you.
The headwinds ability is also pretty solid ability this monster possess, and you can hence use it to counter zaku, selenia or other range buffed summoners. Thou in bigger mana matches however, it would be difficult to use Scavo against high mana enemy cards.
Scavo Chemist is currently being sold for only 0.069$ per unit and increasing and will cost you about 34.51 dec. However, there are some high level scavo chemists available at market for low price and maybe a good deal for those who don't own it yet.

Weak Magic- the magic monsters will first target the enemy armour before reaching to it's health.
Lost Legendaries- No legendary monsters can be used in this match.
I used the Serpentine Soldier at the front position of my lineup and as it is a weak magic ruleset, serpentine’s high speed with evade will help me against melee and range monsters. I am using a level 8 in here and it has 3 melee attack at ) speed with 1 armour and 7 health along with Shield, Evade and Thorns ability.
I chose Prismatic energy at the second place mainly to counter enemy magic attacks if using any. I am using a level 8 in here and it has 3 magic attack at 5 speed with 11 health along with magic reflect and void ability.
I chose the Scavo Chemist at the third position of my lineup and mainly because of it’s cleanse and headwinds ability as I think my opponent will use multiple range cards against me. I am using a level 10 scavo chemist in here and it has 5 speed at 6 health along with cleanse, slow and headwinds ability.
I used the lava spider at the fourth position of my lineup mainly because of it’s sniper ability as I will be using 2 sniper cards in this match as my attack strategy. I am using a level 10 in here and it possesses 2 magic attack at 4 speed with 6 health along with sniper, Snare and Poison ability.
I chose the Imp Bowman at the fifth position of my lineup and mainly because of it’s high speed attack at just 2 mana cost. I am using a level 6 in here and it gets 2 range attack at 5 speed with 4 health along with flying and piercing ability.
I chose the Fire beetle at the last place of my lineup and mainly because of it’s sniper ability. I placed it at the last place so that it’s armour + health can bear multiple sneak attacks. I am using a level 10 in here and it has 3 range attack at 3 speed with 2 armour and 6 health along with the sniper ability.
As it was a medium 30 mana limit match without legendaries and weak magic ruleset, I thought that my opponent will come to attack me with melee and range attackers mainly. But unlike what I thought, my opponent joined the battle with earth splinter Prince Rennyn but with only 1 range card. He focused on magic attack and ignored the weak magic rule and chose 3 magic monsters in his lineup. His front was occupied by Mycelic Slipspawn, followed by Earth Elemental, Khmer Princess, Screeching vulture, Venari Scout and Wood Nymph at end end place of his lineup. He used 2 opportunity monsters as his attacking strategy and as I didn’t use the Tower Griffin and being Armourless, it may give me a hard time against him.
As the first round started, my soldier attacked first and blast damaged both the mycelic slipspawn and earth elemental. The enemy vulture attacked next and damaged my imp.”, followed by my prismatic’s blast attack which again damaged both the mycelic slipspawn and earth elemental. But the wood nymph then healed back the slipspawn’s health to 12 and attacked my soldier and broke down it’s shield. My imp attacked with blast afterwards and damaged the slipspawn and earth elemental again. The venari scout attacked afterwards and killed my imp bowman. The scavo then cleans out the negative slow status from my soldier, followed by the khmer princess who healed back both the slipspawn and earth elemental and damaged my soldier with it’s 1 magic attack. The lava spider attacked next and again blast damaged both the slipspawn and elemental, followed by the earth elemental’s attack but sadly, it misses it’s target. My fire beetle attacked last and again damaged both the slipspawn and elemental.
As the second round started, my soldier attacked blast on the slipspawn and elemental again. The enemy vulture attacked next but missed it’s target on my soldier. My prismatic attacked next and finally killed down the slipspawn. The enemy wood nymph healed back the earth elemental next and damaged down my soldier’s health to 2. My lava spider attacked next and targeted the khmer princess, also damaging the adjacent monsters to it because of blast ability. The enemy venary scout attacked next and killed down my wounded Soldier, but also got thorns damage in return. The enemy khmer princess again healed back the earth elemental and itself and attacked the prismatic but due to the void ability, prismatic ignored the 1 magic attack from her. The fire beetle attacked last and targeted the khmer princess and also the monster’s adjacent to it and left the khmer with only 1 health.
As the third round started, my prismatic energy attacked first and killed the khmer princess finally and also damaged the earth elemental. The enemy Vulture attacked next and damaged my Scavo Chemist. The wood nymph healed back the earth elemental next and attacked my prismatic energy, but also got damaged back due to the magic reflect. The lava attacked next and damaged both the wood nymph and venari scout. The Venrai attacked next and damaged my scavo’s health down to 1. My beetle attacked afterwards and killed the wood nymph finally. Lastly the earth element healed back itself and the round ended.
As round 4 started, the prismatic energy attacked first and damaged both earth elemental and the vulture. The vulture attacked next and killed my scavo. The venari attacked next and damaged my lava, followed by my lava’s attack which damaged both the elemental and vulture again. The elemental healed it back by a bit and then my beetle attacked at last and again damaged both the elemental and vulture, both of them got remained with only 2 health and the round ended.
As the round 5 started, the enemy vulture attacked first and damaged my lava’s health down to 1. But soon after, my prismatic energy launched his magic blast attack and killed both the earth elemental and screeching vulture finally. The only alive monster on the enemy side, venary scout attacked afterwards and damaged my prismatic. But then my lava spider 🕷 launched the last attack of this match and finally killed the venary scout and hence, I scored another win.
It indeed was a long match as my opponent made a heavy defensive lineup with both mycelic slipspawn and earth elemental and 2 healers in the back healing them back to back. But after I killed the slipspawn, the game started changing towards my side. My sniper dual performs exceptionally well in this match and I am also glad with my decision of choosing the Prismatic Energy in this match cause the opponent used 3 magic monsters irrespective of the weak magic ruleset. I didn't get much help with the headwinds ability of the scavo cause the opponent only had 1 range monster. But it cleansed out my serpentine from slow ability and also decreased all the enemy cards’ speed with it’s own slow. Also, its large health consumed multiple attacked which bought my rest attackers more time. So overall, it was not so bad using this monster even in odd situations like this.
