Splinterlands | I crossed staking total 142k SPS

What’s up my fellow splinterlands warriors!

I hope all of you are having a great day with your friends and family and preparing to enjoy the upcoming winter. Many of you reading this post are already splinterlands players and play this amazing NFT play2earn game on a daily basis and for those, I hope you all are doing pretty well in the game and progressing well with time. The crypto market is long into the bear season but only recently after being in the downtrend for over a year now, it seems things are turning back to normal and candles are slowly moving up and making green. Looking at the Hive price, it was moving around 30 cents for a pretty long time but, that never-ending long period seems to find its end as it has shown good growth in the past couple of days and is right now being traded for 0.36$ per unit, which obviously creating positive vibes in the whole community beyond.

On the other hand, the official splinterlands team promised for a long time to bring the DEC price back to its soft pegged price but I am very glad to see it finally happening because as of right now, DEC is being sold in the hive-engine market for 0.00095$ per unit and very very close to it’s pegged the price of 1$ per 1000 dec and I think its only a matter of time before it hits the goal. So finally after a long time period of being sad and depressed about the market condition, I am finally getting some positive vibe in my heart and I guess the case is same for most of you as well. We will talk more about this in this post but before that, let me share my in-game progress for this ongoing ranked season first.

If you have read my previous splinterlands posts or have met me in the game as your opponent, you already know that I have played in the top league of Champions every season in this game for quite some time now and for this season also I am doing the same. In my last post, I shared with you all that I have already reached the top tier of this league Champ I but sadly, when I played today I lost too many matches which caused me to come down to Champion II again and currently I am sitting with 4,119 trophies. However, I was able to fill my season reward chest bar a bit more and after finished playing for today my current total season chest count is 51. As for the daily mission, I got the BUFFS rule as my focus mission today and finished playing for the day after collecting only 7 reward chests which is a bit less than usual as I lost heavily today. However, as only less than 7 days left for this ongoing season, I will soon start to rent some cards from the untamed card-set edition that I am currently missing in my collection and hopefully, they will help me to boost my performance as they did in the previous seasons. I was so sad to lose so many matches today in tanked that I almost thought for a moment to keep playing until I get at least another 3 reward chests, but then I controlled my emotions or I would have ended up drying my energy bar too low. Anyway, let’s see what I get from these 7 reward chests tomorrow but in this ongoing season, I have been so unlucky with the reward pulls and till now haven't got anything good so far which isn't usually the case. But let me keep my mind positive and hope for the best tomorrow or from the season rewards while trying to get as many as I can by trying to play better.

My SPS Accumulation

Now, let us talk about SPS aka Splintershards and for those who do not know, SPS is the in-game reward token as well as the governance token of splinterlands and we can earn SPS by playing different parts of this game - playing ranked matches gives us SPS reward for every win, from daily focus and season reward chests, tournaments and brawls and you also earn SPS and Vouchers by simply staking SPS into your splinterlands account. Please note here that the amount of SPS that we can win per win in ranked matches are directly proportional to the staked SPS amount in that account and the more SPS you have staked in your player account, the more SPS you win per ranked match win. That is one of the reasons why many big players irrespective of the SPS price movement always try to stake more SPS into their account in order to win more through their playing and I am also one of those.

I have been playing this game for a long time now and also staking SPS since the token got launched. As for my strategy, whatever SPS I earn from playing the game, I re-invest it by taking all my rewards back into the staking wallet and as I have been doing it for a long time by now, gladly I now have a decent stake of SPS in my account, although I hardly invest directly into buying the token and only staked whatever I earned in the game. Currently, I have a total of 142,548 staked SPS in my account which is giving me around 10 SPS per win in the ranked arena and also staked rewards in the form of SPS + Vouchers with a rate of 15.04% APR which is very good according to me. With SPS, my main goal is to accumulate and stake at least a total of 200k SPS and I think within the next 4 - 5 months I can reach my goal.

Now, though SPS is being traded near its all-time low price of 0.014$ per unit, I am pretty confident in it from a long-term perspective. The team behind the game works hard and even if late sometimes, they deliver what they promise. With the 2 major upcoming updates - Land and Rebellion edition cards, I expect money inflow into this project and when the bull season comes, there’s a big chance that the Price of SPS will blow up.
