Splinterlands | Showcasing my Gladius Opportunity Cards

What’s up Splinterlands players!

I hope all of you are enjoying this amazing Sunday with your loved ones and also playing this awesome game in your free time. Well, if you are a daily player like me, then most probably you are focused on playing SL right now, because the current ranked season is about to end in next 3 days only! So, I hope all of you are working well on your own in-game goals and I am Also doing the same. For me, I have recently rented in a large chunk of SPS for 7 days, so I am now earning a good amount of SPS per ranked match win. Moreover, I also rented some important cards that I am missing in my deck like Rage etc and they just got expired today. But these last 2 days they have helped me well and I have also reached into the Champ league early this time thanks to them. Now, my goal would be to secure my place at champ II and try for next tier while keeping a good Win-Rate so that I can maximise my SPS earnings. As there are only last couple of days left for the season end, the card rent prices will be higher so I wont force myself renting any mew cards until then, but after the season end when the prices drop and my SPS delegation also ends, maybe then I will again invest a little to rent SPS and cards again.

BRAWL

Now, moving on let’s talk about brawls and we, the members of Neoxian guild has completed playing another brawl together and gladly, thus time also we have snatched away the first place! I want to heartily thank to out Guild owner Mr. Neoxian, Guild Officer Xawi and all my fellow guild members who put in their best effort and made it possible once again. As for the rewards from this brawl, the guild owned a total pf 204 crowns and each participant who played in this brawl got rewarded with 12,240 Merits and 586.029 SPS each. So we are again happy to receive another bunch of SPS and merits and now, obviously its our preparation time for the next one!

GLADIUS CARDS

Apart from earning SPS, playing brawl is best source to earn Merit points and for those who are playing this game for a while or know all the basics, they do know that how important it is to get these merit points and get gladius cards. Gladius cards can be only earned by merits and these cards are soul bound by nature, means they can be moved or burned and will stay forever in the original account. This simply means that those who actually play the game often and earn merit points will be the ones who hold these cards and not directly just by paying money. As I am playing this game for quite a while now and also been collecting Merit points and opening gladius lacks to get cards, my overall gladius card collecting is a bit stronger now and all the rare and common cards are gold Leage level now. But even now, I lack many epic and legendary gladius cards cause it is super hard to upgrade them to max level and some would even need years of time.

Fina Voxom

Here is one of my favourite Gladius card which name is Vina Foxom. It is a legendary type card that belongs to the Fire element. It costs 5 mana to be used in battles means you can easily fit this card when playing small to medium mana matches, and its attack type is melee. The main advantage of this card is its Opportunity ability which will attack the enemy card with lowest health. I have this card only at level 1 as I only have got 2 BCXs of this card so far till now. So you can guess how rare these cards can be to acquire.

Bertrol Gobson

The next card that I would like to mention from my favourite list here is none other than the Bertrol Gobson. This Gladius type monster belongs to the Earth element and it only costs 2 mana to be used in battles, so clearly it may be your best friend for small mana limit matches. It is a common type card and this card’s attack type is melee and just like our Foxom above, this card’s main advantage is also Opportunity ability. At level 10, this card holds 4 melee attack at 5 speed with 5 health along with 3 abilities - Bloodlust, Opportunity and Poison. So you can clearly see that even a 2 mana gladius monster feels so powerful at max level. However, I only have this monster at level 8 and often use in small mana limit battles along with other sneak and opportunity cards and often and win.
