Hello Splinterlands fam!

Welcome to another amazing splinterlands post, my friends and I hope all of you are doing pretty well in your lives and enjoying a fresh and energetic day with your loved ones. Now, for those of you who play this strategic game on a regular basis, I guess you all are storming your brain in the battle arena right now and trying to bring out your best performance while playing ranked, tournaments or brawls. If we take a look at the ongoing ranked season, only around 6 days left for this ongoing season to meet its end. So, most probably, you have already been working hard on a specific goal that you have set in your mind for this current season, whether it is to play enough to enter a particular league tier or to compete against the OGs for a glorious seat in the champion top leaderboard. Now, having another week in hand, it's time to put even more pressure if you are still far away from your goal. Not to mention, as we slowly move near the end, more and more experienced players will be online and start coming up with their unbeatable collection and deadly strategies. So, the faster you reach your goal, the better. So, all the best my fellow warriors and wish you all accomplish your seasonal mission sooner this time.

Now, talking about my own activities in the game, as usual, I am swimming deep into the Frontier mode and playing this mode every single day, like following a strict routine. If you are new to the splinterlands universe and don't know about this newest gameplay mode yet, then you are missing out big time, my friend. Because first of all, this new mode is completely a free to play mode where you are not required to invest to buy or rent into any cards or tokens and rather, you can play and progress in this mode for free and start earning rewards in form of foundation cards and packs, which can be also sold for DEC tokens in the splinterlands card market. Now looking at my own performance so far in this ongoing frontier ranked season, right now, I am playing at the highest Gold I league tier with a trophy count of 3,760. As I have shared in my previous posts, this season I am trying to push my trophy count to 4,000 and to be honest, the moment after I cross 3,700 trophy count, I am losing way more matches than usual and learning new strategies from my opponents. Let's see how far I can reach this time and if I can manage to touch the 4,000 trophy mark somehow.

Moving forward, let me now come to the main topic of this post, as today, I am about to shed the flashlight upon another awesome Conclave Arcana monster. As you have already seen in the thumbnail above, today I will be talking about the Filthy Scavenger. So, if you are interested in knowing more about this monster and about its stats, abilities and features, then let's take a deep dive without any further ado.

FILTHY SCAVENGER

The Filthy Scavenger is a monster type card, which was first seen in splinterlands with the launch of the latest Conclave Arcana core edition card set. This monster comes from the Death element, and it belongs to the Gnome bloodline. By rarity, it is a legendary type card, so you would require a total of 11 CC cards to upgrade this card to its max Level. In order to use this monster in your lineup, you need to spend only 4 mana. So, you can easily choose this monster card in battles when playing low to medium mana matches, or those with little league rulesets. The attack type of this monster card is melee and apart from a high attack power at good speed and a large health, this monster also features 4 amazing abilities at its max level, which I will talk about later in this post. Let us now take a further look at this card’s league wise stats and abilities below to find out more about this beast.

BRONZE

At level 1, this monster card possesses decent stats, which consist of 3 melee attack power at 3 speed with 4 health. Not only that, but it also gets an ability called Opportunity since its initial level, which will target the enemy monster with the lowest health.

OPPORTUNITY - Targets the enemy unit with the least health.

SILVER

When you upgrade this monster further to level 2, it also gets the same stats as its previous level - 3 melee attack power at 3 speed with 4 health. But it does get a new ability at this level called Bloodline Tribute. This ability will strengthen the stats of friendly monsters of the same bloodline once this monster dies.

BLOODLINE TRIBUTE - When defeated, all allied units of the same bloodline gain +1 health, speed and armor and +1 power to each shared attack type.

GOLD

As this monster gets upgraded and reaches level 3, it receives an increased health stat and now holds 3 melee attack power at 3 speed with 5 health. Apart from that, it also gets a new ability called Redemption, which will do 1 damage to every alive enemy monster after it does.

REDEMPTION - When defeated, deals 1 physical damage to all enemy units.

DIAMOND / CHAMPION

Finally, when you upgrade this monster to its max level of 4, it possesses further increased stats of 4 melee attack power at 3 speed with 5 health. Not only that, but it also gets a new ability at its max level called Ambush.

AMBUSH - Takes an extra turn prior to the first round of battle.

Last but not least, I personally like to battle with sneak and opportunity ability cards and having a high attack power opportunity card in hand always helps. On top of that, it also holds some very cool abilities, especially the bloodline tribute and ambush, which will definitely help you in battles. So, I think this monster should be in your collection if you are also a fan of sneaky attacks. What do you think?
