Splinterlands | The GODSNOT SORCERESS is a Heavy Range Attacker

Hello Splinterlands Warriors,
Welcome back to another juicy and fresh Splinterlands post everyone, and I hope all of you are doing great in your lives and enjoying a calm and peaceful day with your loved ones. Now, for those of you warriors who are actively playing this awesome card battle game and trying everything in your power to strengthen your NFT collection, I guess all of you have already jumped in and are currently fighting in the ranked arena and trying hard to push your trophy count to your goal before the season timer slowly runs out. Right now, if we take a quick look at the ongoing season clock, around 4 days and 20 hours are still left before the reset happens, so there is still enough time left in our hands for grinding rewards, completing missions, and aiming for bigger milestones.

Talking about my own progress in the foundation mode of this game, I am currently playing in the highest Gold I league tier with a trophy count of around 3,860. My target for this season remains the same as usual, first reaching the 4,200 trophy milestone and then trying for a leaderboard position if things go well from there.

On the other hand, if we take a peek at the weekly Frontier raffle, I currently hold 9 entries and there are still around 5 days and 19 hours left before the raffle draw takes place. This time once again I will try to push toward around 54 to 57 entries before the timer runs out. Now, apart from that, today I also opened a total of 7 Foundation packs that I had earned from the last 3 days of daily rewards. The outcome honestly turned out pretty solid because I managed to pull 1 Legendary card, 1 Epic card, 12 Rare cards, including 4 Archons, and the rest Common cards.

Godsnot Sorceress
Now moving forward, let us come to the main topic of this post, as today I will be discussing another powerful monster from the newest Escalation mini card set. As you have already seen in the title and thumbnail above, today I will be talking about the Godsnot Sorceress. So if you are interested in learning more about this monster card, let us take a deeper dive without any further delay.
The Godsnot Sorceress is a monster type card that was introduced in the game with the newest Escalation mini card set. This monster belongs to the Life element and comes from the Bruteborn bloodline. By rarity, this card is a Common monster, so you will require a total of 400 CC cards in order to upgrade it to its maximum level. If you want to use this monster in battles, you need to spend a massive 13 mana, which clearly makes it more suitable for high mana limit matches. The attack type of this monster is Ranged, and its biggest highlight is definitely the insane attack power it carries from the very beginning. Along with that, it also comes with a solid armor and health combination that helps it survive longer on the battlefield. At its maximum level, this monster gains two useful abilities that make it even more dangerous in competitive battles. Let us now take a closer look at its league-wise stats and abilities below to find out more.

BRONZE
At level 3, this monster already possesses terrifying stats that consist of 5 ranged attack power at 3 speed with 4 armor and 8 health. Even without any abilities at this stage, these raw stats alone make this monster an extremely dangerous backline attacker, who is capable of dealing massive damage every round.
SILVER
When you upgrade this monster further to level 5, its stats improve even more and it now carries 6 ranged attack power at 3 speed with 4 armor and 8 health. At this level, it also unlocks a useful ability called Oppress. This ability becomes extremely deadly against support monsters and defensive tanks that do not possess attack power of their own.

OPPRESS – Deals double damage to no-attack targets, even those with Weapons Training.
GOLD
As this monster gets upgraded further and reaches level 8, its stats improve once again and it now possesses 6 ranged attack power at 4 speed with 6 armor and 9 health. Even though it does not gain any additional abilities at this level, the improved speed, armor, and health make it extremely difficult to eliminate.
DIAMOND / CHAMPION
Finally, when you upgrade this monster to its maximum level of 10, its stats become even more terrifying and it now carries a gigantic 7 ranged attack power at 4 speed with 6 armor and 9 health. At this level, it also unlocks another useful ability called Headwinds. This ability becomes extremely useful against ranged enemy monsters because it weakens their power by -1 immediately from the beginning of battle.

HEADWINDS – Reduces the ranged attack power of all enemy units by 1.
Last but not least, I think the biggest strength of this monster is definitely its overwhelming ranged attack power. From its lowest level where it already starts with 5 attack power all the way up to 7 attack power at max level, this monster can absolutely destroy enemy units within just a few turns. On top of that, it also comes with a strong defensive combination of armor and health along with decent speed, which makes it surprisingly durable for a ranged attacker. Another useful advantage is definitely the Oppress ability. This ability becomes extremely dangerous against no-attack monsters because it deals double damage to them, even if they receive attack power from Weapons Training. The Headwinds ability is also another excellent addition because it directly weakens enemy ranged attackers by reducing their ranged attack power by 1. This makes the monster a great choice against ranged-heavy lineups. Overall, I think the Godsnot Sorceress is an extremely dangerous heavy ranged attacker that combines both insane offensive power with solid defensive stats and useful anti-support abilities. What do you think?
