Splinterlands | The Kei card is dropping today!

What’s up Splinterlands players!

I hope all of you are doing well in your life and are all hyped up about this bull season and if you also play splinterlands like me, then I hope you are getting used to the new changes in the game that got applied with the latest update. Here I am talking about the ranked ratings and leaderboard update where with the new changes, there will be no leaderboard rewards anymore apart from in Champion and also, while playing and winning or losing in the ranking Section, a player will get a static positive or negative 20 ratings respectively. For champion exclusively, there will be no winning streak bonus on rating and playing will only get or lose 20 points as normal. Now those who are playing their daily focus missions in ranked and also filling up their season chests bar, I wish you all the best and please remember that we have already come near the middle of this ongoing season and only approx 9 days and 21 hours left for this season to end, so you better focus on that as the end comes near and if you are competing for the leaderboard then I would suggest to start pushing your rating already cause there is no cap on how many rating a player can max earn.

Season Progress

For me, I am as always playing in the Champion League and currently battling my wag through the highest tier champion I. My current trophy rating is exactly 4400 and I worked really hard and played for a long time to finally get to this mark and gladly, I am also in top 25 right now. Taking a look at my season reward bar, so far I have been able to collect only 55 season chests, anyway having another 9 days in hand I will try my best to reach the 100 season chest mark. I have been playing seriously since the beginning of this season and I am also often renting powerful chaos and rebellion cards that I miss in my own collection and I am also renting 230k SPS right now which I got as a good deal directly from SPS rental market with a renting rate of 0.003 dec per SPS per day. The increased SPS amount now helping me to gain more reward points with a current reward boost multiplier of 10.3x and every time I win a match in ranked and hopefully, it boosts my season chests bar count as well. Now peeking at my daily task, today I got the FIRE element as my daily focus mission and finished playing for the day after collecting a total of 10 reward chests which I will be opening tomorrow.

Second rebellion Airdrop

Now moving forward, there is another exciting news that I want to share here as there is only 4 hours left when I am writing this post for the second Rebellion airdrop card to finally get unlocked and distributed among players holding chances. The second airdrop card is named Kei and for every 250 chances, 1 airdrop card is guaranteed this time. I am fortunate enough to just complete having 750+ chances some hours ago as you can see from the screenshot above and so I will be getting 3 guaranteed BCX copies of this airdrop card! During the first airdrop in which they distributed the Rage card, a minimum of 200 chances were required for every guarantee card and luckily, I got 2 cards from that airdrop. This time and just a few days after the countdown for the second drop started, I bought a bunch of max rebellion cards directly from the market to use in gameplay so I staked them all into wagons. As a result my contribution point earnings per hour also increased a lot, currently 125,511 points per hour and that's why I am getting 3 guaranteed cards even when my chances for a card increased from 200 to 250. If I can manage some liquid money I will keep buying the rest rebellion cards to boost my point earning even further so that I can win some cards in future airdrops as well.

Brawl

Moving towards, let me now talk a little about brawls and for those those who don't know, brawl is one type of gameplay in splinterlands where players of different guilds fight with each other and the top guilds win their respective places in brawl lb along with awesome SPS and Merit point as prizes. For me, I am an old member of the Neoxian guild and playing brawl with my fellow guild mates for a long time now and just recently, we have finished playing another one. Gladly all of our guild players players played exceptionally well this time and we won the first spot. Thanks to our guild owner Mr. Neoxian, Guild officer Xawi and to all my fellow guild players who actively played this brawl. As for prizes, for winning this brawl our guild got rewarded with 210 crowns and each guild member who participated in this brawl and submitted all of their fray matches got rewarded with 754.147 SPS and 12,600 merit points. As you can see playing brawls can be a good earning source if you have a decent collection and it is also a major source of earning merit points, so if you are in splinterlands but not playing Brawl already, I would suggest you enter or build a guild and start playing brawls.

Now, after the brawl result I went to check my total merit points and saw that I have saved 14k so far which is enough to buy me 7 gladius packs m. So without thinking much, I immediately bought 7 gladius packs and opened them all in one transaction tight away and below I am sharing the outcome.

As you can see from above images above, I was really lucky this time as even when I am opening only a handful packs, those 7 gladius cards brought me a bunch of epic and rate cards and the best one that I found from this pull is obviously the 2x Edith Emberstar Epic card which I was looking for a while and now I can make this card upgraded finally to next level. As I am opening packs and upgrading my gladius cards, I have upgraded most of the common and rare cards to gold league level and some Epics too, but my only problem is Legendary cards as I have only got a handful of them till now and Let’s see if I can grab some Legs soon!
