Welcome back to another Splinterlands post guys, and I hope all of you are doing well in your lives and spending an awesome day with your family and friends. Now, for those of you who are actively playing this strategy game on a daily basis and working hard on building and expanding your in-game asset collection, I believe most of you are actively battling in the ranked season arena and trying to climb higher in the trophy ladder in this ongoing ranked season. If we take a quick peek at the current ranked season timer, there are still around 11 days and 22 hours left before the season meets its end. So there is still a good amount of time left for us to push our trophy count to our goal and secure better league tier rewards, or aim for a prestigious leaderboard position in the Champion League. I hope you all reach your goal within time in this season, but please remember to manage and spend your battle energy wisely, so that you can maximise your rewards and don't end up missing them when needed the most.

Now, taking a look at my own progress in the game, I am, as usual, playing the Frontier mode on a regular basis and currently playing in the highest Gold I league tier with a trophy count of around 3,280. As usual, my goal remains the same, which is to reach the 4,000 trophy mark first and then try pushing further for the leaderboard. There is still plenty of time left, so I will try to progress steadily. On the other hand, if we take a look at the weekly Frontier raffle, I have currently collected a total of 36 entries. With around 2 days and 22 hours left before the raffle draw, I will try to increase this number to at least 54 entries in order to improve my chances. Let’s see how it goes this time.

Apart from that, I also made a couple of additions to my Foundation card collection today. I bought 2 cards each of Wild Horse Tamer and Moros Malik, using the third-party website marketplace called Monstermarket.io. I spent around 150 DEC for these purchases and also received a small cashback of 3 DEC, which is always a nice bonus that gets credited instantly and directly to your Hive-Engine account.

Portia Nyr

Now moving forward, let us come to the main topic of this post, as today I will be taking a closer look at another powerful monster from the Conclave Arcana set. As you have already seen in the title and thumbnail above, today I will be talking about the Portia Nyr. So if you are interested in learning more about this monster card, let us dive deeper without any further delay.

The Portia Nyr is a monster-type card that was introduced in the game with the release of the Conclave Arcana edition card set. This monster belongs to the Neutral element and comes from the Human bloodline. By rarity, this card is a Legendary monster, so you will require a total of 11 CC cards in order to upgrade it to its maximum level. Now, if you want to use this monster in battles, you need to spend 8 mana, which makes it suitable for medium to high mana limit matches. The attack type of this monster is Magic, and apart from its strong attack power, it also comes with a decent health pool and balanced speed that help it survive longer in battles. At its maximum level, this monster gains a total of five abilities, which makes it a very strong and versatile card. Let us now take a closer look at its league-wise stats and abilities below to know more about this beast.

BRONZE

At level 1, this monster holds strong base stats that consist of 3 magic attack power at 2 speed with 5 health. Apart from these stats, it also gets two abilities from its initial level called Shapeshift and Painforge. This combination allows the monster to scale its power while interacting with multiple bloodline mechanics.

SHAPESHIFT – Treated as all bloodlines.

PAINFORGE – Gains +1 power when damaged by Poison, Burning, or hit by an ally unit.

SILVER

When you upgrade this monster further to level 2, its stats remain the same, but it unlocks another useful ability called Apex Strike. This ability is very effective when you want to take down the strongest enemy monster first.

APEX STRIKE – Targets the enemy unit with the most power.

GOLD

As this monster gets upgraded further and reaches level 3, its stats improve slightly and it now carries 3 magic attack power at 3 speed with 5 health. At this level, it also gains another important ability called Immunity. This helps the monster stay effective throughout the battle without being weakened.

IMMUNITY – Provides immunity to magic debuffs and Cripple.

DIAMOND / CHAMPION

Finally, when you upgrade this monster to its maximum level of 4, its stats increase further and it now holds 4 magic attack power at 3 speed with 6 health. At this level, it also gains another powerful ability called Relentless Strike. This ensures that the monster continues to deal damage even against heavily defensive enemies.

RELENTLESS STRIKE – If an attack's damage would be reduced by Void, Shield, or Forcefield, it deals true damage +1 instead.

Last but not least, I think this monster can be extremely useful in many different types of battles. First of all, it comes with a very strong magic attack power, reaching up to 4 at max level, which directly targets the enemy’s health and deals consistent damage. Another strong point is its decent health and balanced speed, which allows it to endure multiple attacks before going down. The Apex Strike ability is also very useful, as it targets the most powerful enemy unit and helps you eliminate key threats early in the battle. On top of that, the Immunity ability protects it from magic debuffs and Cripple, making it even more reliable. Overall, I think the Portia Nyr is a powerful magic attacker with strong abilities that can make a big impact in competitive battles. What do you think?
