Hello Splinterlands Warriors,

Welcome back to another fresh and juicy Splinterlands post, and I guess all of you are doing well in your lives and spending a sunny and wonderful day with your loved ones. If you are one of those warriors who are actively playing this card-based strategy game and continuously building your card collection with continuous focus, then I think most of you are fighting hard right now in the final moments of this ongoing ranked season. If we take a quick peek at the ongoing ranked season timer, only around 7 hours are left before the reset happens. So this is the last sprint where every battle can make a difference, and whether you are trying to secure your goal league tier, reach a personal trophy target and squeeze out a few more reward chests before the season ends, or you are battling against the top players for a seat in the top champion leaderboard, I wish you all the best. Just keep an eye and make sure to use your remaining battle energy wisely because the clock is running fast now.

Now, talking about my own progress in the Frontier gameplay mode in this game, I am still battling in the Gold I league tier. My final target for this season was to cross 4000 trophies and somehow, I have reached the 4,260 trophy mark today as the reset arrives. With only a few hours left, it is now definitely going to be a challenging finish, but I will try my best and see how far I can push before the reset.

On the other hand, if we take a look at the weekly Frontier raffle, I have currently collected a total of 12 entries. With around 5 days and 6 hours left before the raffle draw, I will try hard now to increase this number to somewhere between 54 and 57 entries. Let’s see if I can build it up steadily over the next few days. Also, I shared my latest foundation packs opening outcome where I opened 4 packs. As you can see from the screenshots above, I received 1 epic, 5 rares, including 2 archons and the rest as common cards.

Tazagantha

Now moving forward, let us come to the main topic of this post, as today I will be taking a closer look at another interesting monster from the Escalation mini-set. As you have already seen in the title and thumbnail above, today I will be talking about the Tazagantha. So if you are interested in learning more about this monster card, let us dive deeper without any further delay.

The Tazagantha is a monster-type card that was introduced in the game with the Escalation mini-set. This monster belongs to the Fire element and comes from the Minotaur bloodline. By rarity, this card is an Epic monster, so you will require a total of 46 CC cards in order to upgrade it to its maximum level. Now, if you want to use this monster in battles, you only need to spend 3 mana, which makes it one of the most flexible options for almost any mana limit match, and also the ones with the little Leagues ruleset. The attack type of this monster is Ranged, and apart from its attack power, it also comes with a solid balance of speed, armor, and health for such a low mana cost. At its maximum level, this monster gains a total of three abilities, which gives it both utility and scaling potential. Let us now take a closer look at its league-wise stats and abilities below.

BRONZE

At level 2, this monster holds solid stats that consist of 1 ranged attack power at 4 speed with 1 armor and 3 health. Apart from these stats, it also gains an ability called Close Range. This ability makes the monster very useful because it can continue attacking even when pushed to the frontline.

CLOSE RANGE – Can use ranged attacks from the first position.

SILVER

When you upgrade this monster further to level 3, its stats remain the same, but it unlocks another unique ability called Kindred Spirit: Blast. This creates strong combo potential when paired with the right allies.

KINDRED SPIRIT: BLAST – At the start of battle, adjacent units with Kindred will gain Blast.

GOLD

As this monster gets upgraded further and reaches level 5, its stats improve and it now carries 2 ranged attack power at 5 speed with 1 armor and 4 health. Even though it does not gain a new ability at this level, the extra speed and attack power make it much more dangerous in battles.

DIAMOND / CHAMPION

Finally, when you upgrade this monster to its maximum level of 6, its stats remain strong with 2 ranged attack power at 5 speed with 1 armor and 4 health. At this level, it also gains another powerful ability called Bloodlust. This ability allows the monster to snowball into a much bigger threat once it starts securing kills.

BLOODLUST – Gains +1 to all stats after dealing a killing blow.

Last but not least, I think this monster can be extremely useful in many different battles. First of all, it costs only 3 mana, which means you can fit it into almost any lineup without much difficulty. For such a low cost, it also comes with surprisingly strong overall stats. nAnother big advantage is the Close Range ability, which lets it attack even from the first position. With a decent armor and health combination, I think it can serve as a frontline defender in low to medium mana battles if needed. Want to create explosive attacks? Then use monsters with the Kindred ability next to this card, because they can gain Blast and deal extra damage to nearby enemies. On top of that, every time this monster gets a kill, Bloodlust increases all of its stats by +1, making it stronger and stronger as the battle continues. Overall, I think the Tazagantha is an excellent low-mana card with speed, utility, and scaling power packed into one small package. What do you think?

I hope you enjoyed reading my post about TAZAGANTHA. Let me know your thoughts about today's post in the comments section below, and I look forward to seeing you all in my next post.
