What’s up my fellow splinterlands players!

I hope all of you are doing well in your life and also enjoying the long-awaited weekend with your family and friends. For the ones who play splinterlands, I hope you are playing on a daily basis and working on your progress in this game while collecting focus and season rewards every day and I am also following the same path. Today was a hectic day for me as apart from playing ranked, I also had to play in 2 ongoing tournaments and a brawl, but I have completed playing them all and enjoyed every bit of it. Looking at the season clock, we only have 10 days and 18 hours left for this ongoing ranked season to end and now, I have collected only 16 season chests so far, so right now my priority is to focus on my season rewards so that I can earn a decent amount of chests before the season ends.

Conflict Progress

On the other hand, the Conflict aka rebellion airdrop mechanism is working pretty well in the game it seems and there are only 19 days left for the first rebellion airdrop card to get unlocked and distributed. I am also participating in this airdrop and have staked a handful of max and upgraded rebellion cards in 6 wagons which all together earned me 78,800 contribution points per hour and till now, I have been able to collect a total of 148 chances so far. As announced by the splinterlands officials, there will be one guaranteed card for every 200 chances, so when the airdrop gets distributed, I will be getting at least 3 or more guaranteed airdrop cards if my luck supports. I am still on my mission to buy and stake more rebellion cards but due to this new airdrop mechanism, card prices have refused to come down anymore and I am facing a hard time buying them with my limited financial capacity. But as I have already made some of them max level, they are serving me well in the battle arena and today in this post, I will be talking about one of them that I am using often in my lineups, so without further ado, let's jump right in…

DAARG DEADBLAST

As you have already seen in the thumbnail, today we will be discussing the DAARG DEADBLAST, one of the most shouted rebellion monsters right now. This is a legendary type monster card that belongs to the water splinter and you may have seen or been using this card in the battles because of its Weapon Training ability. It costs 7 mana to be used in battles, so you can easily fit him in your lineup when playing medium to high mana-limit matches. Its attack type is magic and and thou it only possesses a decent amount of attack power at very low speed and no armour, its ability set makes it a very useful card and that’s why it has become one of the important cards in the whole rebellion set. Now, let us take a deeper look into its stats and abilities league-wise below.

Bronze

At level 1, this card possesses 2 magic attacks at 1 speed with 5 health and no armour and it also gets 2 abilities in its initial level - Weapons Training and Swift. The Weapons Training ability is the main feature of this card with which, adjacent cards with no attack power gain its attack power up to 3 attack max. So with this card, you can easily turn your attack less cards into attackers. On the other hand, its Swift ability gives all the friendly monsters with +1 speed, making them attack faster.

Silver

When this card gets upgraded to level 2, it gets the same 2 magic attack at 1 speed but with an increased 6 health and also gets another ability Triage. With this new ability, this monster will heal one of your friendly wounded monsters every round that is not in the first position.

Gold

When this card makes its way to level 3, it possesses 2 magic attack at 1 speed with a further increased 8 health and it also gets another new ability Evade. With this new ability, this monster now has more chance to dodge an enemy's Melee or Ranged attacks.

Diamond / Champion

When this monster reaches its final level 4, it finally gets an increased 3 magic attack but at the same 1 speed with 8 health but sadly, it does not receive any more ability. But the increased firepower will surely help you in battles if you can make a good use of its weapon training ability.

Battle Details

It was a large 45 mana limit match where only 3 elements - Fire, Water and Life were available and there 3 rulesets applied in this match - Keep your Distance (no melee monster can be used in this battle), Aimless (every monster will het the scattershot ability at the beginning of this match) and Weak Magic (magic attacks will destroy the armour first before damaging health. Now Scattershot attacks will be random and also no melee cards can be used in this match, so I decided to go with match with a mix of magic and ranged attacking monsters and thought to use the DAARG monster with 2 non attacker cards so that I can make a good defence at the front while also gaining more attack power through its Weapon Training ability.

In this match I used the Lux Vega summoner and chose the water element with it. I chose the Smith as my front defence followed by Daarg, Merdaali Guardian, Endura Brune, Coastal Nymph and the Angelic Mandarin at the end spot of my lineup. As the match lineups got revealed, I found out that my opponent has also used the same Lux Vega summoner with Water element cards and while the front of his lineup were same as me, he choses Noa the Just at his third position followed by Guardian, Coastal Nymph and Swamp Spitter at his end position.

As the battle begins, both of the Daargs gave their adjacent cards with 3 magic attack and as the match begins, the scattershot attacks from both sides were hitting random cards, butbfor me my Guardian did a great job by repairing the broken armours and of my monsters while healing the front defence. My Daarg was also getting attacked often but thanks to his triage ability, he healed itself up and also help other cards multiple times in the battle. My Coastal Nymph became my main attacker and it killed down the enemy Guardian card at round 3, which certainly ransacked the defence dome of the opponent. As the match continues, I killed the enemy monsters one by one but he couldn't kill even one of my monsters. It was a long match but ultimately I won this one and thanks to the Daarg and his companions, I secured a sweet victory and earned myself a bunch of SPS.

I hope you liked reading my post and also enjoyed the match that I shared and talked about above. Have you also used this mobster or have faced it playing against you in the battle arena? Let me know in the comment section below and I will be seeing you all in my next post.

Wish you all good luck on all of your future Splinterlands matches.
