Splinterlands | THRAGHA’s massive health bar with Life Leech makes it very defensive

Hello Splinterlands fam!

I hope you all are doing well in life and spending an amazing day with your family and friends. Well, the last ranked season has ended just recently, and for those of you who play splinterlands, I hope all of you have already collected your season end rewards and have already started playing for this fresh new ranked one, which has already started as I am writing this post. Looking at the clock of this new ongoing ranked season, we have a long 14 days and 19 hours left before this season meets its end. So, it's time to set a new goal for ourselves and start working on it. No matter whether you choose to fight and collect enough trophies to enter a certain league tier and collect some juicy reward chests, or battle against the top players to secure a glorious spot in the top champion leaderboard, I wish you all the best and hope you reach there sooner this time. With plenty of time in hand, I think it would be best to start pushing your trophy count slowly but gradually from now on, while maintaining a healthy battle energy mana bar, so that you don't miss energies when they are required the most.

On the other hand, the frontier mode has also passed another season along with the Ranked season and as usual, I am playing this newest mode regularly with full dedication. I finished the last frontier season at Gold I league tier with the highest trophy count of 3,660 and after the season ended, my trophy count got reset and I went back to 2,500 trophies. Today, after I finished playing for the day after completing 2 missions, I am sitting at 2,600 trophies and for this season, my goal is to push my maximum trophy count a little bit further than the last time. As I have upgraded many of my foundation cards, including 3 archons to max levels, gladly, my playing has improved visibly and hopefully, it will help me reach a new high and who knows, maybe I can even make a place for myself in the leaderboard soon!

Talking about the frontier raffle, in the last season, I played hard and managed to collect a total of 54 entries, but sadly, even after collecting such a good amount, I again failed to win anything from the raffle. This was the 18th consecutive raffle for me and yet no luck in the lottery, even when I entered all of them with decent entries. Anyway, I have lost any hope of them getting any black or arcana foil cards and will just focus on upgrading all my foundation cards to max level, most of which I have already upgraded. Let’s just see how much more time it takes to max out the remaining ones.

Thragha

Moving forward, let me now come to the main topic of this post, as today, I will be talking about another jaw-dropping Conclave Arcana card with you all. As you have already guessed it from the thumbnail and title above, today I will be projecting the flashlight upon Thragha. So, if you are interested in knowing more about this card, then let’s take a deep dive without any further ado.

The Thragha is a monster type card which was first discovered in splinterlands with the launch of the latest Conclave Arcana core card-set edition. This monster belongs to the Death element and it comes from the Orc bloodline. By rarity, it is a Rare type card, so you will need a total of 115 CC cards in order to upgrade it to max level. This monster needs 4 mana to be used in battles, so you can easily select this monster in your lineup when playing low to medium mana limit matches, or the ones with the little league ruleset. The attack type of this monster is melee and apart from a good attack power with a large health and decent speed, this monster also features 4 powerful abilities, which I am going to talk about later in this post. Let us now take a further look at this card’s league wise stats and abilities below to find out more.

BRONZE

At level 2, this monster possesses decent stats, which consist of 2 melee attack power at 2 speed with 5 health. Apart from that, it also gets 2 very useful abilities called Void and Painforge since its initial level, both of which will be helpful against magic monsters and when getting poison or burning ability damage.

image.png

VOID - 50% less damage (rounded up) from magic attacks or 0 damage from magic attacks of 1 power.

image.png

PAINFORGE - +1 power when damaged by Poisoned or Burning or hit by an ally.

SILVER

As you upgrade this monster to level 4, its stats get a little increment as it holds 2 melee attack power at 2 speed with 6 health. Not only that, but it also receives a new ability called Flank from level 4 onwards, which gives the second position monster the Reach ability if this monster is in the first position.

image.png

FLANK - At the beginning of the battle, if this unit is in the first position, the unit in the second position gains reach.

GOLD

As this monster reaches level 6, it gets further increased stats of 3 melee attack power at 2 speed with 7 health. Though it does not get any new abilities at this level, its increased stats will help you well in battles.

DIAMOND / CHAMPION

Finally, when you upgrade this monster to its max level of 8, it receives 3 melee attack power at 2 speed with 9 health. Not only that, but gladly, it also gets a new ability at its max level called Life Leech, which will enable this monster to grow its max health over time.

image.png

LIFE LEECH - Increases health and max health by 50% of damage dealt (rounded up).

Last but not least, this monster’s health bar and attack are its main strengths. On top of that, the Void ability will protect it from enemy magic throwers and the Painforge will increase its attack if triggered, while the life leech ability will keep growing its health. So, as it survives that match, it will only grow stronger. So, I definitely think this monster deserves a place in your collection. What do you think?

I hope you enjoyed reading my post about the THRAGHA. Let me know your thoughts about today's post in the comments section below, and I look forward to seeing you all in my next post.

Underrated tank of the Death splinter. She's already good at level four for budget conscious players like me 😀

Indeed, she has great use as a tank and comes cheap as well.
