What’s up Splinterlands players!

I hope all of you are enjoying a beautiful weekend with your friends and family and if you are a splinterlands player, then bravo my fellow warrior as we have completed playing another ranked season. Yes, the last splinterlands ranked season just ended yesterday and a fresh new one started just after and right now, we have more than 2 weeks to battle our way forward before this current season ends. There’s plenty of time in our hands as of now cause this current ranked season will be here for another 16 days and 20 hours more, but with the new changes in the ranked version, there is no maximum rating cap so we have mist have to keep playing well since the beginning and climb up the trophy road so that during the end we have enough trophies to grab a good LB spot and win some dec rewards. Last ranked season was very tough for me and I couldn't secure a place in the top 10 once again and just somehow got lucky enough to grab a seat in the top 25 position and win 40k Dec as LB reward. I also spent some money to rent some important missing cards in my deck like Rage or 5 mana summoners etc and they did help me to perform better in the battle arena. But still, the performance wasn't enough so I will be focusing more in this season and will try to learn more strategies and combos if it helps me to reach my season dream goal.

On the other way, I am also participating actively in the ongoing conflict airdrop in this game and have staked a good number of max and high-level rebel cards in wagons in order to collect contribution points. These contribution points will be converted to chances of getting an airdrop with a fixed rate of 100k contribution points per 1 chance. There will be also guaranteed chances to get airdrops which was 1 guaranteed card for every 200 chances for the first airdrop card Rage for for the next card Kei, it has increased to 1 guaranteed card per 250 chances. Right now I am getting a total of 125,011 contribution points per hour and so far I have got a total of 549 chances, which means I will get at least 2 guaranteed cards in this upcoming airdrop. There are only another 7 days left before the next airdrop card gets distributed and I hope I get at least 1 extra than those 2 guaranteed cards but let’s see if my luck shines because it didn't during the previous one.

Now, let me jump to the main topic of this post as today, I will be showcasing another great Modern card with you all. As you have already seen in my thumbnail above, for this post I have chosen the very popular reward card Venari Marksrat and will talk in detail about this amazing soul-bound card that comes with the most popular ability Martyr. So without any further ado, let us jump right in.

VENARI MARKSRAT

Venari Marksrat is a reward edition card that coms under chaos legion edition and it is a soul bound card which means it cant be transferred, sold, delegated, rent or burned. This card belongs to the Neutral element and it costs only 3 mana to be used in battles, so you can easily fit this card when playing small to medium mana limit matches. It is a rare type card and it’s attack type is Ranged and not only it holds a decent attack power but also possesses 3 abilities at max level which makes it even more powerful. Let us now take a further look in this card’s league wise stats abilities below.

BRONZE

At level 2, this card possesses 1 ranged attack at 1 speed with 2 health along with the Martyr ability that it gets from its initial level. With the martyr ability, whenever this card dies in the battlefield, the adjacent cards to it gets a +1 increment to all stats. So whenever you need to give more power to your card, you can choose this card, but you also have to make sure it dies before them.

SILVER

When this card gets upgraded to level 4, it gets the same 1 ranged attack but with an increased 2 speed and with 4 health. However, it does not get any new ability at Silver League but the martyr ability alone can be game changing if applied strategically.

GOLD

When you further upgrade this card to level 6, it possesses 1 ranged attack at 3 speed with 4 health and also gets the Snare ability that it gets from level 5. With This new ability, whenever it hits a Flying ability monster, will take away the flying ability from that enemy card and can not miss its attack upon flying monsters.

DIAMOND / CHAMPION

When you finally upgrade this card to max level 8, it gets an increased 2 ranged attack at 3 speed with 4 health and also hets the Shatter ability at its last level. With this new ability, whenever this card hits an enemy monster with armor, it will take away that armor completely.

BATTLE STAT

Well guys, it was a medium 27 mana limit match where 3 elements were active - Water, Earth and Life and there were 3 rulesets for this particular match as shared below..

Healed Out - No monster can be healed in this match.

Are you not entertained - You can use 1 gladiator card in this match.

Tis but Scratches - All monsters get the Cripple ability.

As I observed all the match rules, I thought and decided to go with the Life cards and melee cards to protect the front. I chose the Lux Vega summoner and used the Xenith Monk as my front defensive monster followed by Vulguine, Dax Paragon, Adelade Brightwing, Venari Marksrat and the Doctor Blight at my end. I chose the marksrat between Blight and Adelade so that if it gets died, both of them get increased stats and become more powerful. As both the lineups got revealed, I found out that my opponent had relied upon his fate in Earth cards and he also chose the Lux Vega summoner and at his front he chose the Vampire Bat followed by Queen Mycelia, Katrelba Gobson, Uraeus, Acid Shooter and Clockwork Aide at the end spot.

Battle Link

In this match, clearly, as you can see, the enemy Gobson and Uraeus were the main 2 attackers on the opponent’s lineup and I also expected such, that’s why I chose my Marksrat in such a position that it quickly got dead by sneak attacks and gave its adjacent monsters more power. Not only that but using the Adelade also gave me another advantage by giving the marksrat a rebirth and when he died again, the 2 adjacent Blight and Adelade again got extra stats and became even more powerful. However, I won the match afterwards easily and scored myself some SPS and trophies and thanks to Marksrat for that.

I hope you loved watching the battle that I shared above and also liked reading my post. Do you also a Marksrat fan and use it often in your battles? Let me know in the comments below and. I will be seeing you all in my next post.

Wish you all good luck on all of your future Splinterlands matches.
