Splinterlands | Venka comes with brand new ability Charge

What’s up Splinterlands players!

I hope all of you are doing well in your life and also enjoying the day with your loved ones. If you are a splinterlands player just like me, then I hope you are preparing well for the upcoming season end war as we are only less than 5 days away from there and only after the season end, the season reward boxes that we all were collecting throughout the season will finally get unlocked and claimable. So I hope all of you guys are currently working on your season reward and playing those ranked matches to collect more reward points. I am also doing the same and focusing all my energy into the ranked gameplay right now. Till now I have been only able to collect 74 season chests so far and having another almost 5 days in hand, I will try my best to stretch that number to 100. I also created an SPS rent bid for 190k SPS which just got filled today, which means I will be now earning way more reward points for every win in the ranked arena and just hope they are enough to help me reach my goal.

Rewards and Glints

Now in the screenshot above, I have shared my today’s focus reward outcome and as you can see, I collected a total of 6 focus reward chests but luckily, those handful of reward boxes have brought me a rare legendary reward card this time. Yes, I got the famous Skok Duskblight which is getting immense popularity because of its Weapon Training ability. But I have already upgraded this reward card to a max level so right now, this card is pretty useless for me. I wish this card was among the legendary ones that I am missing right now, especially Iziar which is my favorite SB legendary reward card and I have been able to upgrade him only to level 3. But anyway, This is not the end and I will just keep collecting more and more reward chests until the season ends and keep trying my luck for the cards I am still missing.

Hopefully, with the upcoming update in splinterlands, reward chests will be replaced with a new token named Glint which we will be getting from the next ranked season onwards and we can buy reward cards using these Glint points. So when that happens, I will save enough glint points fast and buy the required BCXs of Iziar the first and then focus on my rest no maxed legendary and then epic cards. I will also continue renting cards, especially the old RW cards that I am missing in my account while keeping an eye out for cheap deals on Rebellion cards in the market. Now I will just keep fighting till the last minute of this season’s end and let’s see how it goes, what about you players?

Conflict Mania

Ok now moving on, let me talk a bit about the Rebellion conflict airdrop currently going on. The second airdrop card Kei just got airdropped a couple of days ago and immediately after the distribution, the countdown for the next airdrop card has also started already which is named Venka the Vile. I am also participating in the airdrop conflict since the first airdrop card and actively earning contribution points by staking my rebellion cards into wagons and right now, I am earning exactly 129,926 points per hour. So far, I have collected a total of 151 chances and for this upcoming airdrop card, one guaranteed card will be distributed for every 275 chances, which is 25 more than the previous one. In the last conflict airdrop where they distributed Kei, I managed to collect enough Chances to get 3 guaranteed Kei cards but luckily, I got one more from the airdrop and now I only need to buy one more to upgrade my Kei to level 3. For this next upcoming card, I will try to get at least 4 guaranteed chances, if I manage to buy some more rebel cards that I am still missing.

VENKA, THE NEXT AIRDROP CARD

The prices of rebel cards are finally coming down and just some time ago, I bought a bunch of max-level rebel cards directly from the market for a good discount and it suddenly gave a spike to my contribution points earning. I really like this new airdrop mechanism as it promotes and encourages players to actually hold their assets for the long term to get airdrop cards rather than just buy packs and later dump them in the market but keep getting airdrop cards. So now, let me continue to earn chances and hope I get lucky enough to get at least one or two extra cards than my guaranteed count.

CHARGE ABILITY

We all know that the first airdrop card Rage is a massive hit and it is already so popular and often being used in high mana limit matches. I see some demand for the second card Kei also and looking at Venka, the next airdrop card I think it will also attract a lot of eyes and create a demand once launched. Not only that, this card will be one of a kind with a brand new ability attached to this card that currently no other card possesses in this game. Yes, we will soon discover a brand new ability named Charge with this upcoming airdrop card. With this new ability, any monster with a melee attack can attack from any position in the lineup and will target the first card in the opponent's lineup. So basically, we are getting melee mayhem injected directly into a card and I guess it will be very helpful because I think melee monsters are often more powerful than the other 2 attack types so they will give you more power in the arena. Because of this, you can guess how valuable this card is going to be and I have decided to make this card max level soon after it becomes available on the market though it depends on how much price it will be valued.

I hope you liked reading my post. Are you also excited about this next airdrop card? Let me know in the comment section below and I will be seeing you all in my next post.

Wish you all good luck on all of your future Splinterlands matches.
