I hope you all are doing well in your lives and having an awesome day going with your family and friends. If you are also you happen to be a Splinterlands player and love to play this awesome card game on a daily basis, then I think you will enjoy our little chitchat in this post. First of all, let us take a look at the ongoing ranked season. There are only 9 days left before this ranked season meets its end. So, if you are actively playing in this ongoing ranked season, then you should be focusing on your trophy count right now and pushing yourself in the battle arena to score some more wins. These 9 days are all that we have left for both this ranked and frontier season, and no matter of you ate aiming to enter a particular league tier and win some juicy reward loot chests, or to fight against the top players in the game to secure a spot at the champion leaderboard, I wish you all the best and hope you accomplish your missions before the timer hits zero.

Now, taking a look at my own performance, I am, as usual, playing the Frontier mode on a daily basis, and right now, my goal is to acquire the remaining missing epic cards to upgrade my whole Frontier max level collection. Currently, I am playing at the highest Gold I league with a trophy count of 3,140, and as we have only 9 more days left in hand, I think I can touch 4,000 trophies for sure. However, I can’t say the same about securing a position in the leaderboard, because last time I failed to enter the top 50 position and was left behind with only a handful of wins. Anyways, this time, I am going with a balanced approach with my battle energy bar, and whenever I am below 20 trophies, I have decided not to play. Now, looking at the weekly Frontier raffle, the next draw is about to happen in the next 4 days. For this upcoming lottery draw, I have collected 18 entries so far, and with another 4 days in hand, I hope I am able to increase this count to at least 30 - 33. Let’s see how it goes in real life.

Now, moving forward, let me come to the main topic of this post, as today, I will be talking about another awesome splinterlands Conclave Arcana card with you all. As you have already seen in the thumbnail above, today I will be talking about Zarin the Scorch. So, if you are interested in knowing all the details about this monster, and all the perks and advantages of this card, then let’s take a deep dive without any further ado.

ZARIN THE SCORCH

Zarin the Scorch is a monster type card that belongs to the Dragon element and it comes from the Djinn bloodline. By rarity, it is a Legendary type card, so you would need a total of 11 cc cards to upgrade it to its max level. This monster card costs a whopping 8 mana to be used in battles, so you can ideally use this monster in your lineup when playing medium to high mana limit matches. The attack type of this monster is Magic, and apart from its effective attack at decent speed with high health, it also features 5 abilities that I am going to talk about later in this post. Let us now take a further look at this monster’s league wise stats and abilities to find out more below.

BRONZE

At level 1, this monster possesses powerful stats, that consists of 3 magic attack power, 3 speed, and 5 health. Apart from that, it also gets an ability called Slow since its initial level, which helps you by slowing down all enemy monsters' speed stat.

SLOW - -1 speed to all enemy units.

SILVER

When this monster card gets upgraded further and reaches level 2, it receives an increased health stat and now holds 3 magic attack power at 3 speed with 6 health. Not only that, but it also gets another ability at this level called Phase Ward.

PHASE WARD - At the start of battle, the unit in front of this unit gains phase.

GOLD

As this monster reaches level 3, it gets a further enhanced health stat and now flaunts 3 magic attack power at 3 speed with 7 health. Apart from that, it also receives not one, but 2 abilities at this level called Camouflage and Cleanse Rearguard.

CAMOUFLAGE - Can not be directly targeted unless in the first position. Does not affect indirect attacks (e.g. Scattershot, Blast Splash damage, or Trample) or Wingbreak.

CLEANSE REARGUARD - Cleanses the last allied backline unit with a magic debuff.

DIAMOND / CHAMPION

Finally, when this monster reaches its last level of 4, its stats remain the same as those of its previous level, 3 magic attack power at 3 speed with 7 health. But, it does get a new ability at its max level called Blast, which is my favourite ability as well.

BLAST - Deals an additional z50% damage (rounded up) to units adjacent to the target.

Last but not least, this monster is a big, powerful monster packed with magic attack that targets the monster’s health directly. On top of that, this monster also holds a whopping 5 abilities at its max level. Among them, I really liked the Blast, Camouflage and Slow, where the Camouflage ability makes it invisible when in backline, the Blast ability hits adjacent monsters of the enemy and the Slow ability makes every enemy monster lose 1 speed. Overall, I really like this monster and think this is an important piece to have in your collection. What do you think?
