The mighty opportunity monsters of Chaos Legion - My top 3 picks

I hope all of you are having a wonderful day. Hope everyone of you enjoyed the New Year very well but now it’s time to set our goals up right and start acting upon it. I read a couple of awesome 2022 goals posts recently in peakd while curating contents and really find myself motivated to set my goals as well for this whole 2022. Without a goal, Life is meaningless they say.

Now, talking about Splinterlands itself, only nine days remain for the phase two sale of Chaos Legion and already 51.63% of the sale is completed so far. After three days on January 6, 2022, the boosted voucher drop rewards will be ended and afterwards, the vouchers will be distributed at a reduced rate of 20,000 vouchers per day (overall daily supply). As I already mentioned in one of my earlier post that vouchers will be needed in future as well during the first sale of the rift watchers edition packs. Currently, vouchers are being treated in Hive-engine for $2.64 per unit with a 1.54% decrease in price with no intention to go upwards.

Now, let us move towards my theme today as I have decided to showcase the newly launched Chaos edition monsters with opportunity ability, and through this post, I will show you the top three opportunity monsters that I really liked in the Chaos edition.

Opportunity monsters are very important in Splinterlands because of their unique ability to attack the enemy monsters with the lowest health. This orthodox approach really makes them stand From the normal attackers and you will find many situation where you will either kill the opponent or get beaten by him Because of them. In low and medium mana ruleset matches, opportunity monsters really make it hard for low health monsters to survive in the Match as their one blow will beat them down most of the time.

CELESTIAL HARPY

The first monster that I choose is Celestial Harpy. This stunning looking Harpy with blue and white feathers always gets camouflaged with the sky making them hard to see from ground. They also sing beautiful melodies which attracts hunters seeking to kill them for coin and glory. But fails most Of the time to reach those high mountains. Celestial harpies me live in peaceful but they do not show any mercy to those who have darkness in their heart.

This mystical creature belongs to the life unit and is a rare type monster with Melee As her attack type. It costs only two Mana to be used in the battles and respecting the mana cost, I think it’s the best opportunity monster so far in the Chaos Legion. Let us find out more about her in Below.

• At initial level, it possesses 1 melee attack at two speed with two health along with flying and opportunity ability. Since its first level, it gets the opportunity attack and also becomes hard to target upon because of it's flying ability and decent four speed.

• It’s Melee attack gets increased to 2 at level three which makes it more powerful against Low Health monsters.

• At level five, it gets 2 melee attack with three speed and three health and also acquires the true strike ability. the monsters with true strike ability cannot miss their attacks so it will always hit the enemy whenever it’s attacking, with 0% miss to chance.

• At max level, it gets 2 Melee attack with four speed and five field along with all those three abilities that I mentioned above. Having such high stat with those abilities really makes her a valuable monster and a must have into your Splinterlands collection.

• At max level, The combo of its four speed and flying ability will make her Even harder to target a Phone so that’s another good point I would like to mention.

VENARI SCOUT

The second monster that I will be showing you is Venari scout. It belongs to the earth unit and it’s a common type monster with Melee as its attack type. it only costs three mana to use in battles and the thing that I liked about it the most is that it is having high speed with Dodge ability which I will discuss Later on.

Venari Scout is an assassin and see Full feels her contract every time she is very trained in drilling and tracking his targets without being watched and always uses her Whistle to signal the attack. She is so fast Who is her blade that before you Can even sense and attack her she will be done with her job. So let us be Lucy why you should grab her into your collection.

• At its initial level, it gets 1 melee attack at two speed with three health along with the opportunity ability. At level one, the stats may look weaker for a three mana monster but as you start upgrading her, the stats will be Increase to mighty level.

• The Melee attack gets increased to 2 at level four and further increased to 3 at its max level. however, the health also gets increased to 4 At level three and further increased to 5 at level five.

• At level six, it gets another ability dodge. the monsters with dodge ability has an increased chance of evading Melee and range attacks from enemy monsters. Having 3 speed along with the dodge ability at only level 6 makes Her very hard to target upon.

• At max level, it possesses 3 melee attack at four speed with six health along with those two abilities. now, the combo of The dodge ability with four health makes her immune against revenge and Melee attacks from enemy monsters who are having low speed.

DEEPLURKER

The last opportunity monster that I will be showcasing to all of you is none other than the Deeplurker. Deeplurker Belongs to the water unit and it’s a common type monster with Millie as its attack type. It costs a whooping amount of six Mana to use in battles.

Deeplurkers Are poisonous fishes that rooms around in the bottom of the ocean and pray on the weak. They believe in the balance of elemental water magic and whenever that balance gets odd, the deeplurkers rise to attack or defend it to keep the balance equilibrium.

Apart from the dragon jumper, I don’t think we don’t have any monster with opportunity ability above four mana so this monster can we play game changer in big mana matches. So let us see its status in detail and find out more about this monster in Below.

• At its initial level, it possesses three melee attack at two speed with six health along with the opportunity ability. even at level one, it gets three attack enough to put down a Low health monster with just one blow. though it’s lagging on speed, it’s large amount of six health will make him strong Against enemy attacks.

• At a level 3, Its health increased to 7 and it’s Melee attack gets increased to 4 At level four Making it even a stronger Attacker.

• At level six, It acquires the poison ability and at this level, he possesses 4 melee attack at three speed with seven health with opportunity ability. such a big attack with opportunity ability is making it a finisher against low health monsters. However, the only disadvantage so far I see is it’s speed.

• At max level it also acquire Another ability called demoralize. the monsters with demoralize will reduce the Millie attack of all enemy monsters. By max level, it’s stat becomes 5 melee attack with four speed and seven health along with all these three abilities.

At max level its overall status with abilities respecting eats mana cost is surely Making him the super fish of the oceans of Splinterlands. If we can place this monster in medium Mana matches where we generally find at least one or two monsters with low health, this monster can hunt them down easily at the beginning of the match, making it easier for us to win that match without breaking a sweat. I will be looking forward to use this particular monster soon in ranked battle to see how it performs in the actual battle.
