Splinterlands: BlockRaiders’ guild commencement

We’re proud to announce that BlockRaiders is setting up a guild in Splinterlands and with it, we’d like to invite all our members to join and grow it together.

Guilds offer a unique way to enjoy Splinterlands with your guildmates by working together and taking part in brawls. Brawls are large-scale tournaments in which Guilds fight together against other Guilds, competing to earn Crowns and Merits. These Crowns can then be used to upgrade buildings, while the merits are used to buy unique items in the guild store.
Guilds have five buildings: hall, lodge, arena, barracks, store.

The Hall:
One of the most important buildings “This is your seat of power within the Splinterlands. Your guild’s Hall determines Member Roster and Building Level limits.

Hall level determines the number of members a guild can have and the level cap for other guild buildings.

The Lodge:
“Build your reputation through bounties and adventure! By completing Quests, your guild’s Lodge will gain in status and commerce.”

Gives you additional DEC earnings for every battle won in rank, based on its level. Additionally, at level 3, it gives you a small discount for items bought in the shop with DEC. The lodge can be upgraded by guild members doing daily quests and if there is the appropriate hall level.

The Arena:
“Guild Arenas are constructed to host huge battles (known as BRAWLS). The larger the Arena, the bigger the Brawls!”

Arena levels determine the number of crowns guild members can earn and the number of guild members that may participate in a brawl.

The Barracks:
“In the Barracks, you can train your manifestations in powerful combat tactics that are specialized for Brawling.”

Barracks give buffs and advantages to the guild that owns it.

The Store:
“Open only to guild members, the guild Store offers an inventory of unique and powerful items. As the inventory grows, so will your Glory!”

The store offers unique items for purchase and also boosts the merits rewards received by individuals for participating in brawls.

Items that can be bought:
Gladiator Cases — a case holds 5 cards
Spy Glass — to get a sneak peek at enemy teams
Blood Stone — improves the drop rate of legendary gladiator cards
Power Stone — improves the drop rate of gold foil gladiator cards
Gladiator cards can only be played in brawls and can’t be sold or rented but they contribute to your total card power.
Another benefit of guilds is the tavern, where members can chat in-game and exchange tips.

Benefits for our Raiders
BlockRaiders offers unique benefits with the intention of helping its members gain a fast start in the game.

1. New Raider boost
   BlockRaiders wants to make the game accessible and enjoyable to all new players. That’s why all new guild members will be delegated cards worth 15,000 power for one week completely free.
2. Seasonal card delegation system
   The card delegation system where members can ask for cards for the duration of a season. Here’s how it works:

Members can go check out what cards are available for delegation by going to the BlockRaiders account. Simply click cards and then search for ‘blockraiders’ like in the image above.
Next, check to see if the cards you want are delegated out or available. Once you make sure they’re available you can make a formal request for them on our discord server. To build a scalable operation, in due time we will streamline this process with forms and automation.
As we would like to upgrade and advance our guild, the delegation of the cards is linked to the contribution of members. Card delegations are available to members that have contributed DEC to the guild as follows:

Contributions are made by season, and the cards delegated will be available for the entire season without cancelation. Delegations are made on a first come first serve basis, but with rotation criteria, giving priority to members that haven’t received delegations. This way everyone will have a fair chance to receive them. Contributions need to be made up-front before any cards can be delegated. The card power above 100k and its contribution will be stated as we advance in step wise manner, guild and members.
Contributions aren’t mandatory to be a part of the guild, they’re only mandatory for card delegation requests.

1. Community hub
   BlockRaiders has a community hub for all its members and their multiverse friends where we discuss strategies, gameplay, tips, etc. Being a guild member will give you access to this hub and all its benefits.
2. Become part of BlockRaiders multiverse guild
   BlockRaiders is a blockchain multiverse guild with a vision to establish a distinguished guild in the blockchain gaming industry for gamers, developers and artists which will provide a wide-range of services to the industry as a whole. The idea is to recruit enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join the ranks and represent the guild on a global stage.
   Currently, we support several games including Ember Sword, Guild of Guardians, Influence, Wanaka Farm, Phantom Galaxies, Gold Fever, Illuvium, GodsUnchained to name a few.
