I hope not. Especially after this season. As I understood, Splinterlands shall have some additional distinction and modifiers between leagues so that rewards of below 8 DEC pieces per chest should not happen in Gold. Was that correct?

Greetings, fellow Dark Energy grinders and other explorers of the virtual realms!

Some things might change...actually they do, relatively consistently, but I mean the new rewards mechanics might introduce some more effort incentives and thus Splinterlands competitive leagues could see some change in landscape pretty soon.

Here's a wreck of a daily quest!

When your keyboard maintenance costs more than what you grinded out...

All right, that's a joke. Such things are normal to happen and also, a single legendary potion can sometimes have some huge effect on some future happenstance.

Besides, statistics works and you can't always have packs such as The Previously Shared One.

Bricks shall always be part of pack opening and any randomization done right. Cause how else would you know when you are finally worthy of Valhalla and Witness me! you becried?

That was probably not a word up until a few seconds ago. Now it's on the blockchain and existing.

Anyway. I was about to share some of my thoughts on my Golden seasons so far.

That required some investing into collection power, all right. And though I did not go straight for the points in the cheapest manner (only), I still did buy some cards in the end just for their easily accessible burn value in DEC which is what Collection Power requirements care about.

Then they became even cheaper but...oh, well, you can't always hope and wait for the bottoms of all curves.

What I meant by not going straight for the cheapest way to own my way into Gold, was I did invest into powerful enough cards first. Silver level monsters and summoners in each shard, at least. Well, not in Dragon but then again, that would have been too much.

I did open lots of packs until I had enough summoners to combine into level 3 dudes and dudettes. And some other staple cards as well.

And it turned out to be mostly easy for me to make my way through Gold league even without the highest possible levels for Silver, mind you.

It turns out...Most people just rent their way into Gold, I suppose.

Well, time will show how the meta should evolve once changes are online.
