The Hype Worthy Splinterlands Reward Pack

Greetings, Fellow Quest Grinders And Other Users Of Dark Energy And Stuff!

I realize this one is mostly for those familiar with the regular daily quest rewards in Splinterlands where, for those not yet familiar, a number of reward chests are opened for every daily achievement you get depending on your current league.

In the lower Gold League, I get six chests after completion of the daily challenge. Their value has often been way under the opes and expectations for good cards. Like yesterday and the day before that.

Were I not a statistics believer...

I know the crappy rewards of today are common but that does not mean your chance shall always stay like that. Sometimes, a bomb happens.

This morning, I got a whole card pack among the six random chests. The chance for that is small by default but also, the chance to have good cards in a pack is still smaller than 50 %.

But this one...was one for the ages. It shall go in my personal hall of fame for packs opened in terms of rarity generation.

Even larger in terms of collection power.

Should I expect crappy again as I go forward? Some say chance does not care about your history.

I've had more in terms of current market value, all right. Also, in terms of collection power value. But still, this one was huge, bearing in mind it came from a daily quest or something.

Anyway, those who know the the average return, they know what I am talking about.
