The Best 12 Mana Bronze Team. Change my Mind.

12_mana_cover.jpg

If you've spent any time in bronze leagues, you are probably sick of low-mana battles. Anything under 15 mana just seems like a waste of a battle. I've been testing quite a few setups and think I finally have a 12-mana team that will win almost every matchup.

Let's just get to the team

This team is for Bronze leagues and FTP teams. It's actually better than any team I tested with cards I purchased as well. I've only been playing the game for about two months, so I obviously don't have hundreds of test matches with this comp, but whatever. It's easy to make, fun, and an extremely competitive composition that can take some of the frustration away from playing and losing in Bronze.

Healing Tanks FTW!

With minimal mana, you are severely limited to choices. Death and Fire have the best tanks for this since both their tanks have healing abilities. This means you will also come up against these tanks often. So the plan for the team is to attack anything but the tank and leave it until last.

Fire is Da Best

With such a low mana cap, your summoner is extremely important. Both the Fire Summoners offer a buff to all your champs and will give the maximum value during these matches. The abilities of the death summoners depend on the opposite teams' abilities and won't always match up with the other team.

So we're building the team around Fire.

Which Fire summoner? You may think speed would be king at this mana-cap, but I've found an all-melee team with the +1 melee bonus from Malric Inferno has the best chance of taking other teams out.

Malric Inferno at 3 mana should be your summoner.

Which Fire Tank?

This is a no-brainer. Cerebus cost 4 mana and is a 2 damage, 3 speed, 5 health card. His special ability, heal, will restore health every round. There really isn't a better option in the game for tanks in 12 mana matches.

Cerebus at 4 mana should be your tank.

Let's do some Damage!

Since our summoner gives our team +1 melee, we'll concentrate on melee backline team members. The main goal is to NOT attack their tank.

With only 5 mana left, we want to optimize the +1 melee bonus and find cards that will attack backline opponents. This leaves us with a card combo that should wipe almost any backline opposing offense.

Kobold Miner at 2 mana and Serpentine Spy at 3 mana will fill up your 12 mana team. Both offer plenty of damage to backline enemies.

Team Order and Composition

Other than the tank in front, you can swap the two damage dealers around based on what you think the other team has. I guess Kobol Miner in the back is somewhat better cause it can defend against a 1 damage snipe? But honestly, I've found either location to be fine.

This team will also be effective at 13 mana and 14 mana. Don't hesitate to add Chicken, Creeping Ooze, or any other low mana card you own to fill up the spots.

Now Go Burn these Bronze Punks to the Ground

Has this or a similar team been effective for you? Or is this team trash that has an easy counter? I'd love to hear it.

All my posts are for Bronze league play with minimal purchased cards and some new reward cards. I'm pretty much a noob but have been working hard on getting those win streaks up so any advice to improve is more than welcome.

This is exactly my line up too for a 12 mana battle. I add the chicken too at the end.
