My journey of discovery - Guild experience in Splinterlands <3

Hello Everyone,

Just want to share my personal experience about guilds of Splinterlands.

It was around start of august, when I decided to finally join a guild.
Yay me!

It was fresh new guild, leader was investing heavily and everything looked great at start.(currently it is top 50 ranked guild)
Nice team spirit, everyone excited to play towards common goal.

Within a week time our guild leader started to change rules and seeking higher and higher level players.
Here comes the elite!
Players day by day started to vanish from our guild roster, replaced by higher and higher ranking new members.

Our first brawl started, we scored not too bad around 5th place from 10.
I was one of top 3 contributors in this brawl.
I was told by guild leader, that he will not replace me...I was told that I am good. <3

Next day... I log in the game and see that I am guild less. :-)
Yep, harsh morning in the land of Splinterlands. <3

What to do?!
So I searched for another guild, joined up week later...
This time it was extremely relaxed guild, leader was barely noticeable.
I invested couple thousand DEC in buildings to help out our growth and boost team spirit.
Recruitment was stale, leader barely play...all quiet.
Can we do brawls? Arena locked out...
Looks like I am stuck in another extreme...

...After contemplating for a while, I decided to quit this guild myself.

What to do?!

...Took my balance

... and decided to create my own guild!

Unlocked basic buildings, unlocked Arena.
Started to recruit actively on official Splinterlands discord.

People came, some good and some bad.
Within couple weeks we build up solid roster of active players.
Set up rules and order, own discord, further investment in buildings...
Brawls activated...

In 3 weeks we managed to get to top 100 guilds ranking.
In 3 weeks we managed to score 2nd place in brawl.

Now, time to unlock Store lvl.2, working on Barracks lvl.2
...Soon to be opened juicy gladiator packs within first month of our guild existence.

Now, I am very excited when SPS will be introduced as part of guild brawls rewards and looking out for the bright future ahead of us.
I am sure guilds will explode with interest by then and everything will be crazy! :-)

Do not get discouraged if some guild kick you or you join inactive guild.

Sometimes its OK and even better to do your own thing!

This game is great journey, fun and great learning experience.
