Splinterlands Do You Have Any Blight Ideas on the New Card Coming?

Blight Idea #1 Speed wins matches because you get to attack first and your opponent has a higher chance of missing you. There are 4 cards on here that adjust speed during the match including Dr. Blight and if you're using Cryptmancer there is five.

Blight Idea #2 Death elemental looks solid with silence and weaken and you might further weaken with Dr. Blight. Once you weaken your opponents down to 1 give them the redemption shockwave with halfling alchemist. If monsters fall off they'll feed Dr. Blight's scavenge ability. Don't let armor get in the way of your combo by using rust with the Darkest Mage.

Blight Idea #3 See if you can use Dr. Blight's weaken ability paired with other weaken cards and let his poison send them to oblivion.

The Blight storm or brain storm I had here is missing a real, strong offensive key card. What do you suggest?

Neutral: Dr. Blight + Parasitic Growth + gelatinous Cube + ... choose from:

Earth: Screeching Vulture + Venari Seedsmith

Death: Dark Haon + Maggots

for 5-times Scavenge in Poison, Earthquake, Opportunity and other beneficial rule sets 😃

Oh, this is a great post Marcus. Looking at Dr. Blight I share the vision of playing him with a lot of Slow and Weaken on Death.

For the weaken combo I love to use the Cursed Slimeball as well for the Redemption.

But in the end, let me be honest, I don't know how effective those combos can be. If you take the Cryptomancer combo with Undead Priest and Death Elemental, we're talking about ~12 mana if you count add a little bit more to have a tank such as Cocatrice. Now, if you add Dr. Blight we're talking about ~16 mana minimum and that completely changes everything. I fail to see many ways in which I find Dr. Blight to be very strong. Since he has very little HP and Low Speed, he needs protection like a taunt or something, and protection is something that you can't afford in lower mana caps.

In the end time will tell if I'm wrong or not, but it will be very interesting to see what kind of meta Dr. Blight can develop.
