Amazing Battles – Magical Angry Birds battle!

Welcome to another Amazing Battle analysis!

Today we analyze a Wild, Gold Foil, Gold League Tournament Battle.

Our opponent this time is @bubke from the Immortal Gods guild, one of the best players in the game!

Rules:

Equalizer (The starting health of all monsters is equal to the highest one on either team), Briar Patch (all monsters have the thorns ability), and Broken Arrows (ranged attack monsters might not be used).

15 mana cap.

We have an exciting match today.

First, we might not use ranged monsters, leaving us with only melee and magic as options.

But a magic offensive will be preferred as we have thorns on everyone.

A low mana cap mixed with the Equalizer ruleset is weird, as cheap monsters that otherwise might not take more than one hit might last a little longer.

We go with Malric Inferno, an old staple.

aMalric.png

We might get a chicken kill with Malric’s help!

Our team:

Chaos Agent (Dodge and Phase), Scorch Fiend, Furious Chicken (Enrage), Elemental Phoenix (Magic reflect, Flying and Blast), and closing with Dr. Blight (Poison, Affliction, Camouflage, and Scavenge).

As stated, we go for a magic offensive in the form of the consistently good Elemental Phoenix and the big bad Dr. Blight.

We get 5 magic damage up front, 2 blast damage to the 2nd position, and a chance to poison the front monster.

Our tank of choice is Chaos Agent, as it is tough to hit in this ruleset, and with the 8 hp copied from our Phoenix should last for a while.

Then we have the 0 mana stars Scorch Fiend and the Furious Chicken! Let’s see if our stressed bird scores a kill here.

It’s always fun to see that!

Let’s take a look at the opposing team.

Summoner: Tarsa (+1 life and +1 health).

Opposing lineup:

Scorch Fiend, Antoid Platoon (Shield and Scavenge), Ant Miners (Scavenge and Shield), Flame Monkey (Repair), Furious Chicken (Enrage), and closing with Dr. Blight too (Poison, Affliction, Camouflage, and Scavenge).

So, our opponent goes for a scavenger start here, focused on growing front liners backed up by the magic and poison damage of the evil Dr.

Some of his advantages get wasted a little due to our primarily magic offensive, as Shield on the Ants helps mitigate Thorn's damage but doesn’t help against the magic bolts of our team.

He still has 1 more monster than us, so that is an extra 8 HP wall for our magic team to chew through. But he also has a very angry chicken! Let's see if any of the birds kill anybody in this match.

Let's see how this all-out melee goes!

Click on the image below to watch the fight:

Round 1:

Both tanks take some magic punishment, but nobody gets poisoned.

However, we do get more damage with some blast splash on the Antoid Platoon.

Let’s soften those insects!

Round 2:

The Scorch Fiend falls fast this round.

Our Chaos Agent shines this round as he evades the Platoon hit, and Dr. Blight shoots.

Our Dr. injects the poison into the Antoid Platoon, so that tank will not last long.

aChaosAgent.png

Round 3:

The Antoid Platoon dies quickly due to the poison and the Phoenix magic.

Both Doctors poison their respective targets.

Our Chaos agent also takes an ant miner hit, being reduced to 1 measly HP.

aAntoidP.png

Round 4:

Our Chaos Agent falls due to the poison, leaving the Scorch Fiend in the front.

The Monkey finally gets a repair in, but the very poisoned Ant Miners get reduced to only 2 HP due to thorns and get deleted by our Bad Dr.

The opposing Dr. poisons our Fiend too...

Round 5:

Our scorch Fiend dies from the poison, leaving our chicken in the front position facing the Flame Monkey!

The Monkey gets hit by taking some thorns dame and making our chicken angry.

Now we have both birds facing each other in the front.

Our very vindictive bird strikes the Monkey back, managing to take it down!

Furious Chicken kill done!

Round 6:

The Phoenix softens the opposing bird and gets splash damage on the opposing Dr.

But the opposing chicken attacks first, killing our valiant bird.

Still, our stressed bird also takes its attacker with it due to thorns damage.

Furious Chicken double K.O!

The Opposing Dr. gets to the front line and manages to poison our Phoenix.

Round 7:

The lonely Dr. Blight gets its HP quickly depleted due to our damage, and the magic reflects on our elemental bird.

Round 8:

Our valiant Phoenix falls down due to the poison damage, and now is Dr. vs. Dr. mirror matchup here.

But ours is a little healthier with 15 hp vs. 3 of the opposing evil medic.

Round 9:

The opposing Dr. goes down fast due to the combined poison damage and our Dr. coup de grace!

Victory!

Our choice of tank was significant here again.

Our Chaos Agent lasted for a while, evading some critical hits.

Also, our magic offensive strategy worked wonders as we skipped the defensive measures of our opponent in the form of Shield and Repair.

And we had some very effective chickens.

Ours managed to kill two monsters, and the opposing one killed ours! Angry birds, bloody duel!

Thanks for reading, and I will catch you up next time!

quando tem a regra Briar Patch, eu prefiro ataque magico, agora colocar 15 manas, quando se tem a regra Equalizer, mesmo que jogar balde de agua fria.kkkk
