SplinterZine #85 – March 14th – 2024

The art challenges in Splinterlands are a separate attraction. Talented and enthusiastic players of our favorite game create various versions of the characters we're accustomed to putting into our battles.

@oivas was bold and transformed the Ettin Spearman monster into pixel art. It's really cool to see this type of work; I loved the result!

We know that battle rules are the main determinants of our strategies. It's through these conditions that we establish a basis for directing decks into battles. Building combos and plans against our opponents stem from the logic imposed by the game.

Equal Opportunity is a rule that periodically becomes active in our daily battles, and to deal with it, some players share their battles with the community.

@pulubengdugs shares with the community his battle with this active rule and also tells us about his strategies, some points that you would want to see.

Understanding which cards are potential for your strategies requires some study and vision. Countless combos and strategies can be created using different monsters in the right situations.

Each monster has its potential, and the right opportunities to use them will arise. That's why it's important for you to know which are the best options in each situation.

@underlock talks in his post about the Medusa monster, which has good abilities that will be very efficient in battles. He also makes a comparison about the symbolism of the monster with its characteristics. Check it out.

One of the things that all Splinterlands players aspire to is to climb the rankings, to reach higher leagues, and achieve previously unreached levels.

Being in higher leagues has its benefits, and one of them is the rewards. The gains are better, and so are the challenges; only the best can progress!
