Why should you start playing SteemMonsters? #1

I am going to start a series of articles about the game, which I hope will be helpful, and to begin with, I will tell you a bit about my background and how I got here.

I love games but I never really liked playing video games, either on the computer or mobile, but board games.

My uncle plays chess, he was once a chess teacher and taught me how to play and I find chess very fascinating.

One of the reasons I like Chess is because I study economics, and Chess has something to do with math, so will SteemMonsters!

A year ago we started participating in SteemMonsters card sweepstakes, but we had never played, he told me to participate and win these cards as an investment because believed they could be worth more in the long run, and this is indeed happening.

One day I was offered promo code and I decided to give it a try. Since I already had some good cards that I had gotten as a prize, my initial collection was already somewhat "turbocharged" so this was a certain advantage.

However, what struck me is how well the game is done. Each card has a unique function and can be considered the best option of the moment, depending on the specific rule of a battle.

The order of each card that is invoked for the fight is also important, usually, the "tank" goes in front, the most robust unit, and the one that bears the most blow.

Following those those hand-to-hand creatures that have the ability to quickly advance to the front line, strike, and retreat.

Units that use magic usually stay in the center and archers in last, as they become fragile and cannot shoot when they are face to face with the enemy.

Well, this is a brief introduction and these are just some very superficial details about the dynamics of the game.

There are several types of kingdoms and each has its characteristics. Each card has its skills that must be known to get the most out of them.

The strategies and possibilities are many and it is a whole universe to be explored and studied.

But in parallel with chess, I can say that it is a very well designed game, not to say “perfectly designed” and that greatly stimulates logic and intelligence.
