Hi Everyone.

How are you all doing?

It's been really a long time since I was active on hive. A lot has happened in life, and the path of life has taken many turns in these days. I was so busy with these life-related problems that I couldn't figure out any time to return to the hive again. And my final exam was also running at my college, so I had to study a lot. But, after managing all these problems, I am back now again and hoping that I'll be able to continue sharing from now on.

Today, I'm here to share a drawing of mine that I created to take my participation in the weekly art contest arranged by @splinterlands. I was planning to draw Iza The Fanged from splinterlands. But, as mentioned, I was away from all these works. And after all this time, when I opened my colours two days ago, I found out that all my colours have dried out and I had no other way to start drawing. As many of you may remember or know that I used to draw with watercolour and acrylic colour normally and I used to do pencil drawings way before. It's been such a long time. But. I live in a village. And there's no shop to buy such colours. My brother bought these for me from Dhaka New Market a long ago. So, I decided to draw with my old coloured pencils. But, as water colours can be re-used even after drying just by mixing water, I used them at first to draw the primary colour. Normally I used to use acrylic colour for the shading parts. But, I had to use coloured pencils today.

I'm posting this drawing to join the weekly art contest arranged by the @splinerlands team. I really want to thank them for arranging these amazing contests. It really helps artists to show their skills and also get some rewards for their work. So, thank you SPLINTERLANDS. I also play this game including drawing monsters of this game. And, believe me, it's amazing. And the best thing, it gives you entertainment, the reward for winning a battle and you can also trade cards and earn there. So, if you feel interested you can join it. And you're welcome to use my referral link to join. Now, let's get back to my drawing:-

I was trying to draw Iza The Fanged in a new way. I gave it a new look. I also borrowed the concept of Tatsuki Fujimoto from Chainsaw Man. It's an anime character. I combined the look from both of these and added some parts from my own imagination to bring out the final image. I hope that you're gonna like it. I'll be sharing the drawing process below step by step.

But, I thought a little bit dark will be better.

I really really hope that you liked my work and I'll be coming back sooner with a better drawing done by me. So, stay tuned till my next drawing is done. I'll see you then. And thanks a lot for your precious time afford to read my post. I hope it was worth it.

Happy Blogging.

She looks far more like Tarsa than Iza to me. 😁

I can see the confusion rising. That's why writing this comment instead of replying.

As I mention 2 characters which I combined to make this one, you'll notice that I took the teeth and body from Iza and the other part from Tatsuki Fujimoto. The main goal was to create a new MONSTER GIRL. So, logically it isn't supposed to look similar to Iza The Fanged.

Hope you both understood the fact. I'm glad that you liked my work. Thanks for the support.

I definitely noticed and recognized her teeth.
I am not just familiar with the anime character you used as an inspiration.

Anyways, it's your art and you have your own way of presenting it. That is what makes art unique and different from other fields that follow a more strict guideline.

I hope we did not, in any way, discourage you to participate in the next arts contest. 🙂

Thank me as well, lol.
yeah, I also didn't discourage you, I was just saying what more I'd like to see there and I liked your art and my curation should prove that.

Keep up the good work.
