Hello My Friends.

How are you?

I hope you all are well and leading a healthy life by the grace of the Almighty. Today I bring you another one of my drawings of the splinterlands monsters. This is the drawing of a Beta Earth monster named SPIRIT OF THE FOREST. This is a fan-art version of the original card that I drew using watercolour and coloured pencils.

I'm sharing this drawing to submit my participation in the weekly art contest of Splinterlands arranged by them. And here is the link to this week's contest. You may bring your participation too if you want to.

Tools:

To draw this fan art of SPIRIT OF THE FOREST, I used a 2B pencil, a 4B pencil, charcoal, an HB pencil, my drawing notebook, watercolour, coloured pencils and extra tools like a brush, rubber, an eraser etc.

  • At first, I used the 2B pencil to draw the base structure of my drawing. Then I started adding the details on the face one by one.

  • Then I started using watercolour to draw her eyes, lips and other details on her face. I also used a 4B pencil to draw the eyebrows and the border on the eye, lips and nose.

  • I also used a red coloured-pencil to draw the shady parts on her lips.

  • Then I used watercolour to draw the skin on her face. I used my coloured pencils to draw the leaves on her face including the horns. I then used a 4B pencil to draw the hairs on her face.

  • I also drew the leaf locket on her chest. To draw it I first used a 4B pencil and a coloured pencil.

  • Even though I used watercolour to draw the skin on her face, I decided to use a 2B pencil to draw the skin on her body. And again I used a 4B pencil to draw the hairs. I then used watercolour and coloured pencils to draw her dress/armour. Drawing her chest armour with matching it with her breast was a tough part for me. Because I had a tough time matching the side and keeping it as real as possible.

Final Image.

  • Then I used two coloured pencils to draw her hair and this is the final look for my drawing.

I really hope that you liked my drawing and enjoyed reading my post. And as always I'm open to any suggestion or criticism. I always try to learn from them. And thanks to the @splinterlands team for arranging such a contest for the artists to show their skills.

Thank You.
