Dark Enchantress. Splinterlands Weekly Art Contest Fan-Art.

Hello Everyone

How are you?

I hope you're doing well and leading a sound life. I bring you another one of my artwork today. This one is also a digital drawing fan art of a monster of Splinterlands. I drew this one to participate in the weekly art contest arranged by @splinterlands. I'll add the link to the contest at the end. Check it out if you feel interested. I'll be sharing the process of my drawing in this post. About my tools and how I drew a fan-art version of the original card that is quite different from the original.

The monster I drew today is named Dark Enchantress. I used my laptop, graphics tablet, stylus drawing touch pen, and a drawing software named ibis Paint. I'll attach both my drawing and the original image below and you can check it out. I'll also add the link to the contest at the end of my post. So, let's get started:-

My drawing

I did began this one also by creating the structure first but I was kind of busy these days and will be for the next few days and I tried to do some drawings in advance. So that I can just share them in my free time. But in that hurry, I was also attentive in the drawing process and as a result I forgot to take screenshots of many major steps and I am sorry for that. But, I'll add the gif file of the whole process that I downloaded from the drawing software. And you'll be able to see all the steps on that.

After drawing the structure I added the primary color layer. I was quite attentive while drawing the structure this time and I also added the major details like eyes, nose, and hairs. I added many more color layers of deep and light color layers on her face, neck, and chest. I needed to add some more on her neck and chest part because I needed to make them look darker and needed to visualize the curves.

Then I started adding color layers on her legs too and I decided to keep this part a little blurry. I guess you know the reason. Then I colorized her hair. I tried to keep them as simple as possible while keeping the main color theme of the main character. Then I also drew her hat.

Here, in this step, I added the details to her hat and then drew her dress. Now, it's time to draw the Broomstick and add the final details.

I tried to draw it like she's using the broomstick to sit in a stylish pose and I guess it's not perfect but good enough. Sorry, I couldn't do better. Then I added the light color layers. Then I added the details needed like her dress and shoe design, her necklace, and the red color on her hair. All that is remaining is to add some final touches.

I hope you liked my drawing and the process. I'll add the gif below and you'll be able to see the full process there. And I'd love to hear your opinion. So, please comment and let me know.
