How are you today?

The last few days were some most critical times for me. I had an exam related to my fashion design studies. Preparing for the exam and then travelling to another city to attend some special classes and exam stress. These were really stressful times. This exam was an essential one for my carrier and I'm glad that I finally finished it.

I've seen many turns in life, struggle, some success, some failure, learned a lot of new skills and so on this year. And this one was the last exam let's see what result I get in the new year. And now that I'm free, I'm hoping to start over everything in a new way and I hope it'll bring major changes in both my personal and professional life.

Today I'm here to share a drawing of mine with you all and also to submit my participation in the weekly art contest of splinterlands. This isn't like my other drawings. Those were fan art that I made by following other original drawings. But this one is legit and not a fan art of splinterlands.

I had thought about creating this drawing since Halloween. But, I couldn't get the idea in my mind of how to draw it in a unique and splinterlands monster way. And then I got so busy that I almost forgot the idea. Recently, when I was thinking about creating something unique, I remembered the idea again. So, I looked at some cool drawings and they gave me some ideas. I drew some of them and selected one to share with you all today.

My Drawing Tools:

To draw this fan art, I used a 2B pencil, a 4B pencil, charcoal, my drawing notebook, watercolour, coloured pencils and extra tools like a brush, rubber, an eraser etc.

• First, I used a 2B pencil to draw the basic structure for my drawing. And to draw her eye I used a 4B pencil and a little bit of watercolour.

• Here in this part, I used acrylic colour to draw the Halloween mask effect on her face.

• In this part I used a coloured pencil to draw these lines on her neck.

• I did the same thing here too and I used watercolour to draw a simple off-white shade on her face.

• Here, to draw her hair I used my HB pencil a little and mostly used a brown coloured pencil.

The Final Part

• As you can see the drawing now has a dark vibe. I used my charcoal and small tipped marker pen to do it. This actually glows up the orange colour and makes her eye look shinier.

Idea of the name:

Luna:

The name Luna, meaning ‘moon,’ is frequently associated with Halloween. Luna has double references in the mystical world. It is the name of a quirky witch in the “Harry Potter” series. And, the other Luna is a shape-shifting creature in the “True Blood” series.
