MOXIAN REBEL & DOUBLE HEAL Strat! Weekly Strat Vid!

Hi Splinterlanders,

this week I would like to share with you guys the battle before reaching bronze in modern. I decided to explore the modern game mode a little bit....can't say that I love it because most of my cards are for the wild game mode, so I'll probably stick to that for now.

Once again I hope you enjoy the memes:

The game in the the video explains another strategy that you can implement in your deck with the main culprit being the MOXIAN REBEL. You can also read below to find out what I'm talking about!

Strategy

This time I decided to go insane by using 2 strategies in one game, it turned out really well. I used the Wolf of AVINA OF THE WOLF, I do like this Summoner and this is necessary in this case in order for the double heal strategy to work.

MOXIAN REBEL (the card on the right) this monster is for the second strategy that I would like to discuss. I think by now the double heal strat. is nothing new to most players as just like the name suggests it refers to 2 monsters with a heal ability, one with the heal (the tank should have this so that it can re-heal itself) and the other monster should have the tank heal ability which will heal the tank, so per round, the tank will double heal, hence the name.

The strategy that I want to discuss though revolves around using the Moxian Rebel. My initial thought at the start of the game was that I wanted to use this monster. This monster has the weapons training ability, which gives adjacent units up to 3 magic attack damage. I know that I have the Ulundin Overseer I fell in love with this monster as a tank, never seems to let me down and seems to be unstoppable in the first position.

Now imagine if you give him heal and you allow him to do magic damage WOW (that's what I thought as well). So all that was left to do was to find another monster that does 0 damage, that wasn't a problem either and so my first 3 monsters in the line-up revolved only around trying to use the rebel.

MERIPUT MAGICIAN (the card on the left) is my new favorite healer. Why? Because this boy has 5 HP and will most likely not get attacked by the opportunity ability. If you look at the game you will see I have two monsters in my lineup that less than 5 HP.

I find it quite annoying to see my healer deal quickly because of opportunity, but now I have a fav, and the world is whole again 😁.

The game itself went really well, I would say once again I destroyed my opponent. I still had an entire army in the end. I hope i didn't make my opponent cry.

Just like planned my tank didn't die, like I have mentioned before I think it's a key game strategy to try to get rid of the strong tank in the first position in order to claim victory!

Thanks again for tuning in! Leave a like if you watched the video!
