I think it's a great call. Some of these vouchers have been selling for ridiculous sums. The Legionnaire title is worth 100,000 airdrop points. Equivalent to 10 plots of land.
Next decision is if you want to sell your regular foil Docs to buy another gf one and combine to have a level 3, gf Doc.
If you plan to use him a lot in battle, it's probably worth pushing for it, as that 10% DEC bonus really adds up over time.

Long term, it should balance okay, and I like the idea of having more foot in the door on the Hive application side. Considering late entry, I guess I have ramped up pretty fast :)
I don't know much about Land yet, but I have a couple plots, just in case. I wish I had listened and bought some when they were 12 dollars! :D
Not sure about going to L3 gold on it, as I don't know if I play enough. If I was playing Diamond and Champion I think it would make more sense, but in Gold, I don't play for the DEC. This might change more with enough CL cards though, if they are game competitive.
That'll go down as one of my best decisions. I powered down some Hive and bought a heap of DEC at 30c/1000 when a lot of guys were dumping. Redeemed it at the $1/1000 rate offered by the site. Essentially scored a region at $4/plot.
Pretty insane. I paid something like $400 for the 3 I have :D
