I thought that Conclave Arcana would ram my ass when it gets released just because of how strong Bloodline Tribute was in paper. Even after everything, I still think it's the best ability so far. This was met with some unexpected outcome when I first played against a Conclave Arcana Archon.

The battles below are my first experiences in this new generation of cards. It was honestly underwhelming but at the same time, that means the next few weeks will be more exciting and I'm expecting a harder time. The increased rewards though was another unexpected thing but is welcomed since the rentals would be more expensive in the days to come. For now, let's go over some battles that got my attention for this week.

This was my first battle against a Conclave Arcana Archon (previously called summoners) and we can finally see how Bloodline Dominion worked. Initially, I thought it doesn't do anything besides just allowing your Archons to use other units with the same Bloodlines that is not with that element. I did not expect that it would attach an additional ability, which, I've gotta be honest, that was cool.

Now, let's go to my experience with battling with the Conclave Archana Archon. It's a lot less stronger than I expected. It's like a normal Chaos Legion summoner ability but only the same Bloodlines will gain the ability. Except for Bella Ratajowlski who gives her same Bloodline team Shield, everyone else seems quite bad.

For now, I believe that levels are still stronger and more important than tactics. In my battle, even though the enemy player used a more advanced card giving them more advantage in terms of tactics, my team won simply because my units have higher levels which gives them higher stats and more abilities. I don't see the Execute being good with Kaylia Silverleaf just because the elves doesn't have high attacks. This means it would take a lot more time and damage before Execute would've activated. I was thinking that Snipe might be better especially because it is more in theme with Elves as they are also good archers but they probably didn't do that because it may be really strong during testing.

Most of your battles currently would be a mix of low leveled Conclave Arcana teams and high leveled Rebellion teams. My assumption is its because of the rental price. Since it's just the release of Conclave Arcana, even lower levels costs a lot but those who bought them would most likely use them but more competitive players that doesn't have a lot of budget like me would tend to rent higher leveled Rebellion cards instead. In my opinion, you would get more value by renting a higher leveled Rebellion card than a using a low level Conclave Arcana card.

In this battle against Bella Ratajowlski, I genuinely believe that if they have the same level as my units, I would've lost. Giving Shield ability to multiple units are just a crazy advantage and the Ulund units aren't pushovers either. I think they are the strongest on the bunch in both stats and abilities.

Seeing this battle initially made me excited because of the max leveled Eternal Tofu. I was like, "This build can deal with a max Tofu team?" All the excitement plummeted after seeing their team which is composed of Silver leveled units.

I really think that having low options for Sneak is a bad idea and that's proven by allowing me to use Meriput Magician, my healer, at the farthest position and she is safe. While there are still Sneak options out there, it's always way worse than a Silent Sha-Vi + Uraeus combo that can eliminate a team if you aren't prepared.
