Do you ever come across a card that looks too weak at first but then surprises you when the match drags on? That’s the kind of feeling you get with Little Sister. She doesn’t look like much with only 3 health and 2 speed but once she gets going she can be a real headache to deal with.

Her abilities let her scale in the middle of a fight while also dodging more melee and range attacks. The longer she’s alive the stronger she becomes and that’s where her real value lies. In this article we’ll take a closer look at how to use her right and what battles she shines the most in.

Let's talk about… Little Sister

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

────────────────────────

Lore:

The Ferexian Empire is an authoritarian war machine that controls much of the Great Lowlands. Ruled by the Ministry of Peace, it enforces rigid castes, suppresses free expression, and rewards absolute loyalty. Dissent is treason. From the fortress capital of Miterstedt to the farthest outposts, everything serves the state: labor, faith, even magic.
Little sisters are imps from the lower planes, trained by the Ministry to watch, listen, and disappear. They slip into homes, garrisons, and gatherings, cloaked in illusion and sanctioned authority. No secret is safe. No room unwatched. They report everything. And when a name reaches the Ministry, that name is erased. Quietly, efficiently, and without appeal. No one sees them coming. Most never realize they were there.

|| Unit's health increases each time it damages an enemy Unit's health by half the damage dealt.
|| Has a 25% bonus chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks from Units who do not have the flying ability.

Buy and Rent:

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

At only $1.20 for a max level legendary card, Little Sister feels very cheap. Even though her stats start off low, she has scaling potential with Life Leech that can turn the tide in long battles. Despite the low stats, I consider Little Sister one of the strongest unit in Foundation generation if you're going to play Frontier Mode. For the price you’re paying, she’s definitely a good pickup to add to your collection if you have the summoner to back her up.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

No rental

Since Foundation cards like Little Sister cannot be rented, there’s really no option to compare her rental value. On the other hand, if you don't want to buy your own card, you can try your luck by getting it in-game via Daily Rewards or League Rewards when you increase your league rank.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Rule Sets:

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Use it in...

All healing abilities are removed from Units and Summoners.
Life Leech still works in Healed Out rule set because it's not a heal-type ability. Life Leech is similar to Scavenger or Strengthen where it adds max health to your unit instead of healing the damaged part.
Fog of War
Units lose the Sneak and Snipe abilities.
Being safe from Sneak or Snipe gives her more time to stack Life Leech. Just place the Little Sister unit towards the back and watch her gain health each round. A strong tank is still needed to prolong the battle so Little Sister alone is not going to be good if you only have her.

The initial Health of all Units is equal to that of the Units on either team with the highest base Health.
Her low base health doesn’t matter since all units get the same health. This is a good rule set for Little Sister because it removes the Opportunity units targeting her being one of the lowest health stats in the game for a 6 mana unit.

Avoid using it in...

All Units start the battle Poisoned.
Low starting health means she will die too quickly to poison. Little Sister also have less than 3 magic attack which is important to counteract the 2 poison damage each round.

Magic attacks hit Armor before reducing Health.
Not only Little Sister have no armor, she also won't gain health from Life Leech if the attack hits the armor. Life Leech only works if the attack hits the enemy unit's health.

All units have Opportunity (targets the enemy unit with the least health).
Little Sister has one of the lowest health in the game at the start. With only 3 health, she is in danger of being targeted first by Opportunity attacks given by this rule set. Instead of trying to use her and protect with units that have lower than 3 health, just give up on this unit overall for this battle.

Battle Summary...

Battle Strat: This is a Frontier Mode battle where Foundation cards are the only ones available. This is my standard Death element build. The -1 health from Thalgrimore and -1 health from Sorrow Harvester's Weaken gave me a 2 health lead on units at the start (technically just 1 because the enemy player also used Thalgrimore.) The main problem with this is that Little Sister only has 1 damage and will be blocked by Enemy Nim Guard Captain's Void. No damage to health, no life leech. Still, except for that one unit, Little Sister is a good unit overall.

Battle Summary: While my Nim Guard Captain gets hit by the enemy thorns from their Enemy Spellmonger unit, my Little Sister still hit him freely for a bonus one health. Then, it's just a matter of killing the Enemy Nim Guard Captain and I would win because range units cannot attack if it's in the front.
