My End Of Seasons Results - Season 38

Today we witness a minor BTC price correction which in turn effected altcoins like Hive. That in turn likely effected Splinterlands asset prices. All in all it’s these down days that has me trying to dig deep within myself to stay the course and continue what I do daily.

For those who interact on crypto platforms on a daily basis it is difficult to stay motivated on days like today. Yet here are my approaches as to continuing what I do daily.

I am not a top tier Splinterlands player. In fact I haven’t even been in Diamond league for months if not years. Yet I play daily and combine around 30 to 50 matches a day. I don’t play it all in one sitting but majority of the matches are during hours where supposedly I should be sleeping :)

I have two accounts to play one in bronze and one in gold. I often earn ten times the sps in my gold account versus bronze so play gold first to reap the rewards. However recently I have notice a steep drop in gold rewards in sps versus bronze.

Snapshots above is bronze leagues earnings as of today versus gold per battle win. It’s about 3x the rewards difference which is leading me to believe bots are hoarding in gold leagues or at the very least a lot more competitive in gold than bronze.

With that being said I still play and aim toward certain daily rewards until I stop. In the bronze account I try to aim for at least 10 daily chests. Whether it takes me 10 battles or 25 battles I at least hit that amount daily. On good days I can get up to 14. In gold account I aim to get 6 daily reward chests. Often to reach 6 I tend to play more than 20 battles a day.

Then there are the brawls that I most definitely put as priority. When the time left in brawls are less than 24 hours I try to make time to put in my matches. Those happen on every third or fourth day of a given week.

So how do I stay motivated to clock in these battles daily? Some days I just rush in the battles just in hopes I hit the daily rewards. Other days I am focused and prime to get more than what I expected.

On a winning streak helps and I believe having the combo of playing in a low rank league and then higher league helps a lot. There are more days than not I get on win streaks with bronze just because I have sufficient amount of playable cards. That way even if I struggle in gold I feel I have completed my task with the win streak in bronze and stay motivated just enough to compete in gold.

Another way to stay motivated is simply to post on hive to discuss my progress. I like doing this to remind myself to see where I started and how far I have come. Sometimes I see top players with plenty of cards dominate and forget the fact that I never put a penny of my own money into this game but yet here I am with a decent amount of Splinterlands assets.

As I grow daily although slowly in the long run I know it all adds up. This is the truth base on past experiences. When Splinterlands was yet a household name I was a small fry earning fractions of a penny on daily basis. The earnings grew as I continue playing daily and I believe will continue to grow as long as I stick to this regiment.

In short whether crypto markets are in a bull run or bear run you will see me playing the game. If we ever play each other a want to say thanks for playing.
