Splinterlands - A Brief Review of Splintermate

The current Splinterlands proposal at its core is focused on reducing the earnings from bot accounts. To that extent this post may not be responded well, but I would like to still discuss it because I think it is an awesome project. Today is my short review of Splintermate.com

If the name of the site is not easily to get then I would say read it again. Splintermate is a website that helps players automate battles and rental renews all for the low price of $1 USD per a month. That is $1 per an account and the player can run as many accounts as they please. On top of all that there is more as the site as a user interface to list daily and total rewards earned through rank battles and daily focus reward chests.

Tools Overview

Signing in with your hive signature you gain access to data of your account. The tool "Balances" track your account assets from Credits, DEC, SPS, Merits, Gold and Legendary potions, and even your ECR %. If you have multiple accounts you can add them onto the list and be able to see all the accounts on one screen.

In the past I have seen projects and other third party tools able to list out cards being used in battles and determine which ones are the most popular. However those stats seem to have went into hiding as currently I have not seen any projects currently displaying the stats. Then came along Splintermate. Under the "card usage" tool players can see what are the most used cards in 50k most recent matches and able to filter the results in multiple categories. These stats will be very informative for those seeking out which cards are popular and purchase them or which cards to learn to defend against as those cards are the most likely to be used.

Several other tools are useful but I won't go into details with them. Instead I will let readers decide if they wish to look further into them, but I will say they are very handy tools to use for players who have multiple accounts and want the accounts to all be controlled via bot play and see the controls on one screen. The best play to do all the controls is through Splintermate.

Again graphic user interface is outstanding and easy to use. It has drop down menus to show most recent bot activities such as claiming SPS and chest rewards or when fees are due.

Rentals With Auto Play

The whole reason for Splintermates to exist is mainly to allow players to have their accounts auto play. How they do that appears to be a game bot that automates the matches for you.

You would have the opportunity to control what thresholds to use to play a match and how matches would be played based on your ECR %. All in all learning curve for the site is minimum but it does not take away for its great tools and uses.

My Overall Opinion

Splintermates graphics and user interface are easy to navigate. Not to take anything away from Splex.GG but in Splintermates I did not see much of any links, texts, or images cut off or appearing in wrong sizes.

What I have not tried is Splintermates automatic bid of rental cards. For players who lack a card collection they would rent cards either with Splinterlands or Peakmonsters. However Splintermates will automate those rentals as long as the account has sufficient DEC to pay for the rentals.

Scaling participation has been difficult with crypto games. Yet Splinterlands has since day one had they not been against players using bots. In other words the developers are friendly toward bots to not out right ban them from use. This has allow for a way of accounts to start and have a domino effect on increasing activities. All in all the game benefits with more activities.
So what I will say is that players who tend to rent out decks to play can still play with bots and have multiple accounts as long as they setup all the cards rentals to be automated.

Conclusions

To me the project seems very well developed and although I have not tested the bot playing enough to tell you whether the odds of winning is better using the bot, I will say the whole project as a whole still is well created that any Splinterlands gamer should have a look.
