Chaos Major Discount?

Today I looked over the regular max level Chaos set and surprise to see its near $2K. This is an all time new low going into the upcoming newest set rollout called Rebillion. In recent town halls it was mentioned that Rebllion will have cards as impactful as Chaos. To me this is very bullish.

To expect cards to be as good as Chaos while keeping existing sets relevant is extremely exciting to see. The more cards there are the more players get involved. On the flip side it will dilute the current ecosystem assets if not more players get involved.

When Splinterlands boomed during the crypto boom of 2019/2020 I want to believe it will happen again. The new cards will be one opportunity where Splinterlands can get newcomers. Overall benefiting early adopters.

Another drawback is the prices for older series cards are falling. The drop has accelerated recently and it maybe a feeling of all hopes being lost as to when we see a bottom in price. Yet if and when prices do flat line it maybe one of the best opportunities ever to be investing in Splinterlands now.

I have personally added more than a handful of Chaos cards in recent days and plan on continuing to add as land 1.5 arrives. The thinking is players unwilling to hold long term are now selling near a low rather than high. The cards land 1.5 will have locked up will make supply limited and thereby increase the overall prices of remaining cards in circulation.

In addition there are other updates that will enhance the utilization of the NFTs. The updates include other new games such as Soul Keep and new cards as mentioned earlier in Rebillion. Of course this is all my assumptions and this is no financial advise.
