Splinterlands - Daily Quest Giving Chaos Packs...

I am not trying to brag here but bring up the fact that it appears the chances of pulling a Chaos Pack in daily quest has risen. Why would I say that? It is because the last two quests I have earned packs. I maybe jinxing myself for mentioning this lol.

Chest Rewards

Over on Splintercards.com there is a tool to list out the odds of earning a specific drop for a reward chest based off of player's league. Currently I am in Gold II and with that I have 1.25% chance of pulling a pack for every chest I open.

If I had stayed in silver the percentage to pull a pack drops to 0.5% or 0.75%. For being in the gold league longer in a season it has risen my odds of pulling a pack. So technically I increased my luck to earning more in game.

Just to note in Champion I being the highest rating a 3% drop in Chaos packs is the top. That is almost three times that of Gold league.

Out of all the potential value of rewards able to be earned a Chaos pack is near the top in value. Only epic gold and legendary gold is higher in value than a pack. There is also the odds of pulling a ton of DEC in a chest to have value more than a pack but odds for all these kinds of pull are few and rare.

Conclusions

If you were wondering what I plan to do with my packs won I will tell you I am holding onto them before the SPS airdrop is over. Each pack I yield a small amount of daily SPS and it adds up.

In addition seeing the odds of pulling less in $ value of cards in a pack is not that awe inspiring me to want to open packs. Instead I will wait it out to see if Chaos card values rise to a point where I can be satisfied that opening is more likely profitable before I start opening packs. To those think that day will not come just look at past history of every set that has come before Chaos. It is no guarantee in price rise but odds are in its favor to hold longer.
