When players amass a decent amount of Splinterlands tokens they may want to look at different ways to stake their stash of hard earn winnings to profitable projects.

Staking DEC

DEC is the reward token for winning rank battles. There is no direct way to stake DEC in game but outside there are liquidity pools to invest. In game the developers provide a bonus for users to invest their DEC into liquidity pools. That is each 1 DEC that is partake in a liquidity will yield the participant 2 air drop points for collecting daily air drop of SPS.

Compare leaving DEC in a player's wallet they will earn 1 air drop point for collecting daily air drop of SPS.

TribalDex DEC Pools

There are multiple options to invest in liquidity pools that consists of DEC. On tribaldex.com there are currently seven pools with association with DEC but only four will have liquidity pool rewards. Reminder this is different from earning 2 air drop points for daily SPS airdrop.

The pool at focus on tribaldex is Pizza : DEC. In that pool the APR as shown beeswap.dcity.io is an astonishing +44%. This is yield earned just for keeping your DEC in the pool. Of course you need also provide 50% in Pizza and understand there can have potential of impairment loss.

One way to get 50% of the stash is to swap half of your DEC into Pizza and then putting it in the pool. This is the point of pools is to have liquidity for investors to invest in.

Conclusions

It is fun to see how many ways to make more with what we have. DEC is a perfect example. Sometimes we want to save our DEC so we can buy expensive cards or just save more to have more. There are multiple ways to earn more. What ways are you going for earning more DEC?
