Splinterlands - My Account Review For November 2021

Another month over and right on que the start of another season. Last season I ended up only earning 12 reward chests because I rented out most of my cards. My intake on rentals turn out to be a record at around 92k DEC earned after fees. Not much higher than my previous record. In addition to all the rewards I have earned in the past two seasons I have also added a few cards to my collection.

In the two seasons I added only reward cards to the collection. Whether it was won through reward chests or purchased directly through markets. I just could not bear to payout for older cards just yet as I feel prices may correct a little once Chaos cards arrive and it will be soon.

New Additions

Although I only bought a 1 bcx I had to have it as Djinn Oshannus has some wicked abilities coming in at higher levels. Just in case I do not added any more from rewards I will steadily add this towards my collection until I have one max level.

The Pelacor Mercenary at max level was what I got and not regretting it one bit. I never came close to getting a max level Flesh Golem so this new card will be a decent substitute.

Overall Collection

The price of cards in my collection held steady throughout the month of November however I did increase my total amount of DEC burn rate of cards so overall my deck has grown in the month of November.

With Chaos Legions cards arriving within the next week it is a good time to take advantage of what will be a dramatic amount of cards added to the circulation. Hopefully I will be able to capture some of these cards as they come out for sale.

Conclusions

With one month left in the year and new cards arriving it should be an exciting end of 2021 for Splinterlands. Amazing how this year has been as the game blossom into mainstream with being the most active daily dapp game and increasing a total net worth of the game nearly $300 million. I look forward to what will be in store for the game in 2022 as land expansion has yet to be released and new battle rank formats to be setup with maybe even boss levels to compete in.

Specifically to my collection I intend to save what is currently in my hands and add Chaos cards as I go, however if I really see something I want I may trade some of my existing cards in order to loosen some liquidity to invest in newer cards.
