Splinterlands - My Favorite Neutral Monsters
I may appear a bit old school as most of my favorite neutral cards are from rewards or beta series but they stand out to me because I have used them for multiple years. With the memories I have with these cards I am about to mention take note it is just my opinion.
Beta's Enchanted Pixie
When I use melee formations with low mana battles it is always nice to include Enchanted Pixie into the mix as it has Inspire. Nowadays I tend to play more of magic attacks but once in a while if I get the chance to add Inspire I would look toward Pixie. The card works great with fire, death, and life splinter as those splinters have decent amount of melee monsters to increase melee. Meanwhile Pixie has magic attack which makes it handy even in the middle to rear of the formation.
I bought this card a bit late into the game when Untamed was already out for over a year. So I never had enough $ to max out the card. Still I was able to get it to level 5 just so it would have Inspire. I also added a 1bcx gold foil version into my collection for rounding out the rare beta gold foils. It was in beta series were we first seen the neutral cards.
Rewards Rewards Rewards
Lord Arianthus although is a rewards card it has become one of the staples of a tanker card. When it was first introduced a lot of players including myself was not sure what its use were. The card for the first couple of weeks were selling for around $1. Some players who were good in playing Splinterlands then were immediately drawn to the no attack and no toughness card. The abilities was what separated it from the rest of the cards.
I held off for over three years not buying the card because by the time I wanted it the card was over $100 / bcx. Sometime last year the market's DEC prices somewhat soared and it was then that I took advantage of the overvalued DEC and used it to buy me a max Lord Arianthus. Since then I have been mostly renting it but I have a lot of memories in it. This card is currently the card I spent the most to purchase.
Another reward card but very helpful against magic is none other than Prismatic Energy. A simply monster on the outside but is able to handle magic attack blows by the way it is designed. Match it up with another monster in Creeping Ooze and now stack slow ability.
Although a common card it took a pretty penny to max the card. I have used the stacking of slow ability against opponents and has yielded me many wins.
Filling In Cards
Before the Chao's zero mana monsters there was only one, Furious Chicken. The card was used in a lot of battles and best off all it was neutral splinter and can be used in almost any formation. The gold foil version would prove to be very lucrative as it gave players who used it an extra melee monster attack.
I looked at a lot of the older series neutral but will end with a newer one in Sand Worm.
The card is a common but can do heavy damage even at level 1. What stands out for it simply is its default sneak ability while having a base melee attack of 5. Mix this in with dragon or fire splinter it can definitely inflict a heavy attacks.
Conclusions
As we continue to play sometimes its nice to look back at cards that we have used in the past and how they are now when facing against newer cards in Chaos. The point of this post is to reflect on what cards I like a lot and share them to the readers. For those who play the game which neutral cards are you most fond of?
Until next time thanks for reading!!!

I don't own Lord Arianthus but it is monster I will only wish to own and will not own due to the cost.
I can relate about Prismatic Energy support it with Tank Heal and it can take out magic monsters coming at it, I own a level 1 of it.
SAND WORM is no doubt a favorite!
My most valuable Neutral monster is CORNEALUS, I own a level 2 GF of it, it mostly keep my backline locked for me against the likes of SAND WORM sneaking around. Watching it piercing melee monsters coming at it with thorns is a delight to watch.
