Status of Rewards Soul Bound Cards 2024

In crypto scarcity is one selling point for why the asset has value. It is like the old fashion supply and demand theory. Then for reward Soulbound cards I would think the supply would be low in order for them to hold some value in future sales.

In addition to potentially sell the cards I would also want to plan on which I may buy in order to max out the cards. What I found for current Soulbound cards in circulation is a bit more than I bargain for.

To get a decent comparison let’s compare with the Chaos set as they were the most printed and currently second most set of cards in circulation.

There are over 50 million Chaos cards printed but just slightly over 10 million currently in circulation. This is based on cards leveling up and burned.

With Soulbound getting 19.6 million cards in circulation we can consider that as much as twice of Chaos. Yet prices of Chaos have been closer to all time lows.

My prediction is that once Soulbound cards are available to sell there will likely be very little going to open market. The main culprit will be the fees players need to pay out in order to unlock the card to get on sale.

To go even further back in time the total amount of reward cards in circulation without Soulbound we can still even that number is lower than the latter.

It is a little under than Soulbound but coming in at 18.3 million cards. It took years to print over 100 million and now we are down to less than Soulbound cards is pretty impressive.

It is clear currently we have large supply of Soulbound cards. This leads me to believe there won’t be a ton of value in individual Soulbound cards. The supply is simply too large and over saturating the demand.

I also think soulbound won't really go on the market either due to the fee. Do we need to pay a fee if we don't plan to sell but burn them instead?
